“We loved it!”

My son and I loved this place, we had a queen bed each, brilliant wifi, netflix, full size fridge,hairdryer,iron and ironing board,coffee machine, so much space and even a dining table and chairs..not to mention the use of a pool! My son and I loved this place, we had a queen bed each, brilliant wifi, netflix, full size fridge,hairdryer,iron and ironing board,coffee machine, so much space and even a dining table and chairs..not to mention the use of a pool! The beds are so comfy, 2 different types of pillow. Bath and shower both fab,lots of hot water. The area was really quiet and most importantly for us we felt really safe, walking around the local area each evening was a pleasure we looked forward to, lovely vibe and family feel about the place. Plenty of shops and great places to eat. Literally can't fault it, we'd definitely stay here again.

“My pleasant visit”

I have stayed here for several weeks and have been extremely happy with all the accommodations. Front desk people are so professional, kind and so accommodating. I needed help to get my luggage out and Maria from the front office rushed to help me which was extremely appreciated. This is the only place I’ll come back to in my next trip.

“Good location for walking to restaurants”

We chose this for its location - plenty of restaurants within walking distance - and plentiful car parking. We didn't realise that you have to pay extra for the car parking, but that was OK. Room was fine. Enjoyed good selection of bars and restaurants nearby.

I emailed the motel to address our concerns but haven’t heard anything. We didn’t have a chance to address the issues while we were there. We vacation in Southern California 2-3 times a year. First time staying at vagabond Glendale. The pros are the location- 20 minutes drive from Universal Studios, across the street from 2 malls, restaurants and shops in a safe neighborhood. Having tea in the lobby was a nice touch. The cons: Roof noise- We were woken up at 6:40a to construction worker on the rooftop. Not exactly how we wanted to wake up on vacation. We weren’t told construction was going on and had specifically requested a quiet room. The website advertised wifi and large TV with HBO. The room has neither. Website still advertises this. This is a huge inconvenience with teens. As the hotel hands you a piece of paper informing you that there’s no wifi or tv, it must have been unavailable for awhile. Parking policy is $10/day yet there is plenty of space- never full and no valet so not sure what we’re paying for. Also, only a microwave in the lobby. Most motels do provide microwaves. The problem was not so much the motel itself but they advertise something different so the customer have different expectations of what they are getting. There are many options in the area so not sure we would choose this one again.
