Rooms can be a bit noisy depending on location, but it all seems to end fairly early. The pool is great, but there didn't seem to be a lot else for the kids.

Grand Residence is the finest property we have ever visited. The entire property is indeed impressively elegant right from the lobby to the room. The lobby is very spacious with a fantastic interior. They have provided ample sofas and chairs for the guests. There are also fire places at convenient locations. These are very useful especially in cold weather. The rooms are fantastic with couple of sofas and chairs. There are two television sets in the living room and bedroom. They have taken utmost care to ensure their guests are comfortable.

Marriott Grand Residence Club, Lake Tahoe offers one of the best locations you can ask for in South Lake Tahoe. Being just steps from the Heavenly Village, surrounded by restaurants, shops, casinos, and entertainment, makes this property incredibly convenient for any trip. Everything you need is within walking distance, and the overall setting is hard to beat. The rooms feel more like condos than standard hotel rooms, which adds a comfortable, home‑like touch. They’re spotless, well cared for, and clearly maintained with attention to detail. Just keep in mind that this is not a traditional Marriott hotel elite status perks like early check‑in or late checkout don’t really apply here. You’ll still earn points, but if you’re used to the full suite of Marriott benefits, this property operates differently. Service was warm and welcoming, and the front desk interactions were consistently positive. Valet parking was helpful, though it did get busy during initial arrival, so expect a bit of a wait during peak times. Overall, this is a great choice if you want unbeatable access to Heavenly Village and a comfortable, condo‑style stay. The location alone makes it worth it, and the clean rooms and friendly staff round out the experience nicely.
