“Anniversary to remember”

Supremely attentive staff in all domains. The grounds were lovely and very serene. The room was a delight. The cozy patio was wonderful. Three persons stood out (Zach, Alexis and Hunter)

My wife and I arrived from Illinois without a reservation before Christmas due to a mixup with a vacation rental we had reserved through the New Year. My wife and I arrived from Illinois without a reservation before Christmas due to a mixup with a vacation rental we had reserved through the New Year. The hotel was very accomodating by allowing us to extend our stay so we could spend the holidays with family. The hotel and vineyards are lovely and true to their heritage. The hours of operation of the three restaurants we frequented took some getting used to; however, the food and service were always first class. Housekeeping was also very helpful by providing bathroom incidentals as we requested. The room and hotel in general were very clean and fresh. We chose not to have our room made up every day. We highly recommend Ponte Vineyard Inn for a reasonably priced first class stay.

Booked a last minute stay at Ponte and it didn’t disappoint! The staff was friendly, rooms were beautiful, hot tub was HOT, beds were comfy, food was delicious, and the complementary wine tastings were super awesome. Will be back.

Two days, two very different experiences. On the second day we took an enjoyable tour of the vineyard in a little cart, with informative commentary, nice views, and wine tastings along the way. Definitely recommend that! On the first day we had dinner in their restaurant and it leaves a lot to be desired, in terms of food, setting and service, sorry. The food was ok. If they served the risotto in a bowl with the fish on top it would look a lot more appetizing than having it spreading ickily across the plate, plus it cools too fast like that. The fish was overcooked. The setting is unpleasant in two ways: one, they have these unattractive black canvas curtain things delineating the space and on the floor to my left were a couple of abandoned black sandbags; and two, for some unknown reason they clear to a set of benches *in the middle of the dining space*, so all evening you have to watch other people's dirty plates, cutlery and napkins getting piled up near where you are eating. Ugh. And sadly, although I think she was trying, the waitress was not great. First she proposed to seat us, in the back corner, facing the black curtain things, extremely depressing! We sat facing the room. Later when she cleared the salad, she took the serving platter and *one* of the plates we had been eating from. Even when we moved it to the corner of the table where it clearly needed to be removed, it stayed with us...the rest of the evening. Sorry.
