This is a great value hotel with the nicest employees, a plentiful and yummy free breakfast, at a rate that is very budget friendly. My husband and I have stayed here twice in the past six months, the most recent time in mid-July. The AC was great, especially because it was 100 degrees even at night. The beds were comfy and the shower and sink area had Ivory products. The location is very convenient, on 111 and short drives to Palm Spring, Palm Desert, Indian Wells and LaQuinta. But above all, I have to credit the team working here for being warm, welcoming and always with a smile, from the folks at the front desk to the maintenance and housekeeping staffs, to the women who set up breakfast and keep the dining area immaculately clean. AND, the price for two nights (off-season, yes, but still) was $188, including $24 in taxes. If you are looking for for a clean, well-run, comfortable, friendly hotel in the desert, choose Holiday Inn Express in Rancho Mirage.

“Needs a little TLC”

Staff is great. Always friendly and helpful. Rates are OK. Breakfast is the typical fare. Place shows signs of wear and water pressure is on the weak side. AC would not cool the room down adequately even after it was serviced. Bed is a bit worn as well.
