In May 2026, I for the first time stayed at this Home2 Suites three nights. I found the property clean, quiet, and well maintained, and the staff friendly. I especially appreciated two features about the hotel. First, the continental breakfast included plenty of fresh fruit, and real tableware and cutlery, not plastic and styrofoam, was provided. Second, in the fitness center, both the wall-mounted television and the elliptical machine worked. Walking the neighborhood alone one morning, I found it moderately dicey. In daylight, however, I felt safe. I again would stay at the Home2 Suites CSUS.

After a long 7 hour drive from Los Angeles to Sacramento for our daughter’s graduation set for tomorrow (May 23rd) we checked in at Home2 Suites only tonlearn that I made the wrong reservations, I had made them for June 12th - 14th instead of May 22nd - 24th. I became very stressed and overwhelmed … lisää

After a long 7 hour drive from Los Angeles to Sacramento for our daughter’s graduation set for tomorrow (May 23rd) we checked in at Home2 Suites only tonlearn that I made the wrong reservations, I had made them for June 12th - 14th instead of May 22nd - 24th. I became very stressed and overwhelmed at this point, but after meeting Dan he went the whole mile to help me contact Expedia to get my refund. He’s exactly the perfect employee for the company..

“Customer service is suboptimal”

Well, stayed here for the first time…I was excited to stay here because I have liked the Home2Suites line. I arrived after a long 2 hour drive and was excited about my one night stay. Well, stayed here for the first time…I was excited to stay here because I have liked the Home2Suites line. I arrived after a long 2 hour drive and was excited about my one night stay. I checked in online but went to the front desk, as this was the procedure in the past when I have checked in online prior to arriving. The front desk clerk was busy filling sachets with lavender and clearly was not happy that I interrupted that task. First, she could not find my reservation, after fumbling around the reservations I stated that I checked in online. She said “well, that is why I can’t find your reservation, you already checked in.” With previous stays they always want to physically run my credit card and then I like to ask for a physical room key, despite having a digital key as well. She shooed me off the front desk and went immediately back to filling the sachets. I did ask her for restaurant recommendations and again she was perturbed that I was bothering her, so I didn’t feel comfortable asking for a key. She was aloof and disturbed when I asked for restaurants near by, she answered “well there isn’t much around here.” I headed up to my room and really liked the room. It was clean, new and roomy. One of the outlets did not work but that is really the only thing I found wrong with the room. The morning at the front desk was much better, a new front desk clerk. Told her I was checking out and she took care of it right away and appreciated me letting them know I was leaving. The breakfast was good and I absolutely love the flavored water. The area was a little questionable. I ventured out but got back to the from before dark. The parking lot had multiple signs that stated park at your own risk. I would probably stay here again.
