“4th time staying”
Clean room, the most important thing of all! 4th time staying here for a motorcycle reunion. The smell of Bourbon in the air makes it even better.

“Staff friendly, location great, rooms clean, breakfast excellent”
This hotel was close to several distilleries, which makes it a good choice. It had clean rooms with comfortable beds. But the breakfast was far better than some of the bigger named hotels. Staff super friendly with pleasant smiles and quick easy check in/out. Keep up the great work.

“Excellent Experience”
Excellent value for the price that we paid. Ten minute walk to historic town centre. Front desk at night on Dec 14th and breakfast attendant on Dec 15th were very nice and showed excellent customer service. Clean, quiet rooms in a lovely, historic Kentucky town.

“Great place!”
The whole experience was great! From the person at the front desk, cleanliness of room, comfort of bed and the breakfast. It was wonderful, hot and good with a nice selection. The eating area was clean and the lady caring for it was very friendly.

“Newly remodeled motel with a wonderful staff”
This motel has recently been remodeled and it shows. We have stayed at the General Nelson a number of times and always found the staff helpful and the facility a good value. Now that it is remodeled, it is even better. It is clean and comfortable.
