Let me start by saying this hotel is very nice. The entire front desk staff was incredible. The young lady at the concierge desk was very helpful and kind. Let me start by saying this hotel is very nice. The entire front desk staff was incredible. The young lady at the concierge desk was very helpful and kind. There was an older gentleman at the concierge desk that acted snooty. Wouldn’t say hi or pretty much acknowledge our existence. Everyone else was very jovial. Our room was very spacious and clean. We also had a pleasant view of the water. There was a highway next to the hotel that kept me from sleeping well. But in their defense, they did accommodate a room request I had that just so happen to put us near it. Valet was awesome! Very punctual and polite. I would definitely stay here again, but probably away from the highway. And a very special thank you to the staff for making my kids and I feel welcome.

“Great location and service!”

An absolutely beautiful hotel in the perfect location. We were able to walk to all the museums, shops and distilleries. It was also close to a walking area for our dog. The staff at The Galt House were friendly and helpful. The room service was excellent. Great stay!

“Fancy Vacation Feel with a "Familes are Welcome" Attitude”

We arrived with 4 kids feom 16 to 6 and 2 adults for our Spring Break trip. This hotel was perfect. Theblocation was fantastic, the room was spacious, quiet, and super comfy. There was just enough updates and amenitites that we all felt like we were on a swanky vacation without feeling like our wild kids were a burden. We ate dinner one night at ine of the on sight restaurants, Walkers Exchange, ans had rhe same experience- upscale feel with "welcome to children" attitudes from staff. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to other families staying in Louisville.

“Way better than I was expecting.”

Everyone was great. The hotel is unbelievably beautiful and welcoming. Walking to downtown sites was so easy. I felt much safer walking around downtown than I thought I would. The only negative was the air-conditioning in my room wouldn't cool below 72°. That made sleeping uncomfortable.
