OVERALL IMPRESSION: I would stay here again. I stayed here just the one night for business, and received a nice warm welcome with recognition of my HH diamond status. That is, once I’d actually managed to find the entrance, as Google Maps did not make it easy to find! The hotel looked and smelled incredibly clean from the moment I stepped inside — and indeed my room didn’t seem to have any issues at all. I do like Home2 Suites in general, as their rooms are large and generally have everything I need. The only real negative was that the television in my room would not work, which was a little bit annoying. It also had two different remote controls, and it was unclear how to use them. The water temperature from the showerhead in the morning was also only lukewarm. Super quiet throughout my stay. Well spaced and well equipped gym with three treadmills — all of them working! Easy (and plenty of) parking across the street, though it can also be challenging if you have a lot of luggage and need to take a luggage cart across to your car. I also didn’t quite understand why they charge for parking, when guests park in an open parking lot at a shopping mall. How do they police that? Speaking of the luggage carts … they’re super small! I didn’t have much of a chance to scope out the nearby area, but the hotel appears to be near a mall and therefore with plenty of shops and eating options within walking distance.

“Mixed Bag.”

Hotel is a mixed bag. First staff was great, especially Jacob at the front desk. Breakfast attendant was also super sweet. Rooms so so. First right outside my 4th floor room ceiling was all out. Hotel is a mixed bag. First staff was great, especially Jacob at the front desk. Breakfast attendant was also super sweet. Rooms so so. First right outside my 4th floor room ceiling was all out. Looks like there was some sort of water leak. Second my friend work up to a soaking floor by her AC unit. Not good. Also fit and finish of hotel is poor. Lots of border carpet in hallways coming undone. In room bathroom wall has crack in tile area by shower. Second hotel is cutting corners everywhere. Very disappointed with breakfast. Hotel using paper plates and plastic cutlery. Not sure if this is new or what. At the Home 2 I stayed in in MIchigan they had actual dishes. Hot tea selection awful. Only Lipton nd green tea. Based on this more than likely won't return. Next visist may try the Hampton next door. With some fine tuning this could be a great hotel. I will say location is good. Can walk to shopping and multiple restaurants.
