“Comfortable, clean and pleasent and very helpful owners”
Great hotel, nice management. Recommend! Small Countryside Hotel. Near camping and fishing at Lake of Egypt. Very accommodating owners. Clean. Neat. Many new facilities. “Nice place - not fancy”
This is a nice place to stay if you are fishing a tournament out of one of the marinas at the Northern end of Lake of Eqypt. It is clean, but it is older and not at all fancy. I feel the price is reasonable and it is set up so that two can share a room.

“Lodging for the Solar Eclipse”
The Laketree Inn was in the perfect location for lodging in southern Illinois for the 2017 solar eclipse. “Not bad”
We checked in on the Friday after Thanksgiving for one night. The rooms are dated but they were clean. The rooms were large with a microwave and refrigerator. I would stay there again.
