Would return again if in the area. No running water first night. Issue resolved as indicated and didn't affect the timing for why we came. Room keys that's supposed to let you in the garage level DIDN'T. Had to wait for hubby to come back down and let me in. The front desk guy at check-in seemed nice enough but somewhat condescending. He probably had alot on his shoulders with the aforementioned plumbing issue. Thankfully the daytime front desk folks the next day were great. Very attentive and helpful. Bathroom in the rooms has a bit of a weird smell. Kind of like most cruise ships smell, not musty but noticeable. Hardware should be updated. Super outdated. Mini fridge in the rooms. The only microwave is in the lobby. I haven't seen any hotels without microwaves in each room. Parking is expensive! $59 for 2 nights!

“Dominique is great; but this hotel is not great for sleeping”

We were hoping this hotel could be a good fit for us since we are going to be coming often. On check in I asked about water the the gentleman said there was a "beverage bar" set up in the lobby for us to get water, tea and coffee. I love tea but didn't see any tea bags worth using. We were hoping this hotel could be a good fit for us since we are going to be coming often. On check in I asked about water the the gentleman said there was a "beverage bar" set up in the lobby for us to get water, tea and coffee. I love tea but didn't see any tea bags worth using. I specifically asked for a quiet room, and the check in person said it was quiet. At 10:00 p.m. almost like clockwork, a very loud noise occurred. We were the last room at the end of the hall and imagine my surprise when I walked out and saw an ice machine around the corner. I can't remember the last time I was in a hotel that had an ice machine, and I never saw anyone use it. I called the front desk and they said they were full and could not move us. About 15 minutes later they called and said they "found" another room at the other end of the hallway where there was no ice machine. By this time we were unpacked and undressed and said forget it. The next night and every night thereafter, I heard a noise other than the ice machine, that occurred all night long at similar intervals. It sounded like an elevator starting and stopping and yet we were far from the elevator. I heard a similar noise in a hotel long ago and maintenance told me it was the inner workings of the elevator system. There are 4 elevators. I saw only one working during our 4 night stay. Everyone complained about the elevator because it was so slow. When the doors closed, there was a very loud "crunch" sound like it was breaking. Everyone winced whenever it closed. The bright spot was Dominique at breakfast. He can light up a room. He is so pleasant and always gets your order right and is always in a good mood and happy to see you.
