First of all, it's a hotel for people who like to drink when they are on vacation. The happy hour at Coconuts features 2-for-1 and the bartenders break their neck to serve everyone fast enough. The trip downstairs to the restroom is enough to convince a tea-totaler that they may want to order a Bud Light. Great bands, great option to have live music. The pool looks nice and inviting. We stayed in the Sovereign Seas condo, as the hotel has expanded to a little compound, including houses that were built in the 1920s and this condo across the street. Take your pick, they are all walking distance to the bar. The decor is reminiscent of a John Holmes movie from the early 1970s. In fact, I think I recognize the bedspread and drapes. The cabinets in the kitchen were hanging on by a thread, as they had been since 1982. The only thing that was holding them up and preventing them from crashing down onto the kitchen counter is the friction of being jammed up into the 1970s drop ceiling. My cousin marveled at the fact that I left a $5 tip for the room service people since they obviously hadn't cleaned the furniture since 1990. Just gross, dirty and dingy. It's a good location. You can walk to anywhere and it's above the boardwalk. Keep your expectations low and you'll never be disappointed.

Been going for many years but during bike week the parking is ATROCIOUS. THEY seem to be able to get several parking spaces, truck, trailer, bikes. But my sister in law has 2 cars and couldn't get one extra space. VERY FEW handicapped spaces, and they don't enforce the "loading" zone, which was … lisää

Been going for many years but during bike week the parking is ATROCIOUS. THEY seem to be able to get several parking spaces, truck, trailer, bikes. But my sister in law has 2 cars and couldn't get one extra space. VERY FEW handicapped spaces, and they don't enforce the "loading" zone, which was filled with bikers this morning and I had to lug bags across the lot, and tend to my disabled husband. WHICH IS WHY WE NEED MORE HANDICAPPED SPOTS. NOT acceptable.
