My husband and I has a relaxing vacation in Hyannis. This was our first time visiting the area. Thank you to the wonderful staff at the Anchor In for helping us choose local restautrants and book a ferry trip to Nantucket. Chyanne at the Front Desk was especially helpful! Our room had a wonderful view of the harbor, and the beds were SO comfortable. Our room was immaculate. We would stay here again.

This places us comfortable enough but there are a few things that people need to be aware of. 1. The parking isn't free. It's $10 per night 2. This is the only accommodation that charged us a $25 per night Tourist Tax / Local Tax 3. The WiFi isn't high speed but looking at the comments, that could be to do with how far you are situated from the router. On a positive note, the accommodation has stunning views of the harbour, a heated pool and working fire 🔥 pit. Nice place but feel aggrieved to be hit with further charges at check in

I stayed here for a long girls’ weekend, and overall it was a lovely home base for exploring Hyannis. The property is a bit older, but the location truly can’t be beat—everything we wanted to see was an easy walk away. My room was surprisingly spacious, with tons of storage. The closet was a great size with plenty of hangers, plus a safe, extra blankets, and bathrobes. I appreciated having a refrigerator and Keurig, though a microwave would have made things even more convenient. The room also had a proper desk and chair, a comfortable armchair, three dressers, and more than enough lighting. It was easy to settle in and feel organized. The bathroom was equally well stocked, with a hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, lotion, and even makeup-removal wipes. There was plenty of counter space around the sink, which made getting ready each day a breeze. The front desk staff—especially Mary—were fantastic. Warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. When my suitcase broke, they tracked down a roll of duct tape so I could patch it up, saving me from having to buy one. Housekeeping also did a great job keeping the room clean and restocked without me having to ask. There were a few hiccups. The TV didn’t work when I arrived, and although Mary fixed it quickly, she mentioned it’s a recurring issue. The remote was also finicky when using the channel guide. The biggest downside was the Wi‑Fi: it worked beautifully in the lobby and breakfast room, but the network never appeared in my first‑floor room (108), which was frustrating. And on my checkout morning, I was woken up by what sounded like furniture being dragged overhead. Even with those bumps, the friendly staff, comfortable room, and unbeatable location made this a memorable stay—and our girls’ weekend was still a wonderful success. I left Hyannis smiling and already thinking about the next trip.
