I decided to visit the Clark Currier Inn and Newburyport for my birthday this year, and my boyfriend and I had an incredible time. The historic, beautiful inn felt like such a welcoming home. The weather the weekend we visited was chilly and a bit dreary, so comforting touches, like the fireplace filling the inn’s living room with warmth felt like a dream. We enjoyed reading books and playing card games around the inn, taking in the charm of the whole house! We truly didn’t want to leave!!! The breakfast was perfect for us, with delicious frittatas, yogurt parfaits, pastries, toast, and more! We found breakfast to be delicious, and served in the most beautiful, bright room with the tables adorned with gorgeous place settings. The service was fantastic. Caitlin was so friendly and accommodating, and always wanted to make sure we were comfortable and having a great time! We felt very well taken care of! The location of the inn was also perfect! Nestled in a spot that was easy to get to, upon arrival we were able to walk to the inn from the commuter rail station. It was also a short 5 minute uber ride from the rail station, too! The walk to downtown Newburyport was short and picturesque. We were easily able to walk around the town for shopping, meals, and exploring. We spent two days in Newburyport and at the inn, and we are already wanting to come back. There was still more for us to see and do- plenty of places to explore to fill up a full weekend! We would definitely recommend staying at the Clark Currier Inn, and we are already wanting to return! (We stayed in the Currier Room at the end of April, and we traveled to Newburyport from Boston via the Newburyport Commuter rail.)

Riley made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived, welcoming us warmly and showing us around. The room was thoughtfully set up with everything we needed—Wi‑Fi password, breakfast hours, and all the key details right at our fingertips. Caitlin was an exceptional host. Her breakfasts were truly delicious, and she shared fantastic recommendations for things to do and the best spots to eat. The location couldn’t be better: it’s just a short stroll to downtown, where you’ll find charming shops and great restaurants. Newburyport itself is wonderful for exploring on foot, with plenty of benches along the way to pause, relax, and take in the scenery.

My wife and I go to Newburyport once or twice per year and always stay at the Clark Currier Inn, We park our car in the back and walk the entire visit- downtown is 5 minutes away. We've gotten to know Caitlin Cliffor, the General Manager, quite well and she always takes very good care of us. The inn is lovely, breakfasts are fabulous, and we love playing cards in a room in the back, or sitting in front of the fire reading. We both highly recommend the Clark Currier Inn

Had a lovely stay at the charming Clark Currier Inn. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and the promenade. We stayed in the Noyes room on the third floor, it was small but sufficient. Had a lovely stay at the charming Clark Currier Inn. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and the promenade. We stayed in the Noyes room on the third floor, it was small but sufficient. Off season was a nice time to go, very affordable and quiet. Breakfast is offered in the morning although we did not partake. Will definitely be coming back!
