The location and the professionalism and courtesy of the staff make this a very special place. Every amenity and response time was extraordinary well executed to enhance our experience. Being in the epicenter of Edgartown, on the ocean, rooms surrounding the pool, fire pits for evening gatherings, and a 5 minute walk from to a wide variety of great restaurants from gourmet to snacks and ice cream…as well as historic sites, make the hotel an ideal choice for couples, solo visitors and families.

We chose the Harborside Inn for our first visit to MV based on location and reviews. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had one of the smaller front rooms, but it was well appointed and quiet. We chose the Harborside Inn for our first visit to MV based on location and reviews. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had one of the smaller front rooms, but it was well appointed and quiet. Bed, linens, towels, lighting and toiletries all first-rate. We had one small issue with a noisy a/c unit and it was fixed immediately when we brought it to the attention of staff. All the staff were helpful, warm and professional. The pool and garden area, along with convenient parking for bikes, were also pluses. We would go back for sure.

“Sunny and boating”

We return every year to the Inn and Greg and team are great making our stay comfortable and fun. The Jaws movies on Friday nights is fun by the pool and the cookies every evening delicious. We keep our boat on a mooring and the dock team are supportive in loading and unloading. See you next year!

“Beautiful Inn and location”

The In. Itself was lovely with a fabulous atmosphere and location right on the water and right in town, you could walk to everything. Our room was the tiniest room you could imagine. The In. Itself was lovely with a fabulous atmosphere and location right on the water and right in town, you could walk to everything. Our room was the tiniest room you could imagine. So small no room for a bedside table. The room was old, but the bathroom was brand new and the room was clean. We were in the main part of the original old house, so very steep stairs etc. Beautiful lobby and large sitting area and porch overlooking the water. We didn’t realize it was a timeshare. They also had a nice pool and firepit. Complimentary water, tea and coffee in the lobby. Overall a beautiful place, but for $500 per night I’d expect a better room. Also no food on the premises made it difficult to find food without long waits and large crowds. They did have outside grills for use if you had a big enough refrigerator. Also all rooms have AC and large TV.
