We stay at this hotel 3 or 4 times a year and generally enjoy our stay. The rooms are clean; the breakfast is good and the little touches like the freshly baked cookies are great. This time all seemed as normal. As usual, my wife woke early and was surprised to find that the Keurig Coffee machine was no longer in the room. I read the welcome sheet, and it did not explicitly say that there was now a change in IHG policy, it kind of hinted at it. We are coffee drinkers and good coffee is appreciated. At 500 in the morning, you are not adequately attired to descend to the lobby to grab a coffee. This was irritating, and I looked on the internet to see if there was anything related to IHG and coffee. I found an article about a trial policy to upgrade the coffee in the breakfast areas and to remove the machines from the room. The website for the hotel actually still says coffee maker and on a picture of the king room, like we stayed in, there is a picture showing the Keurig on the shelf (seen on 1/12/26). Nothing against the hotel but I blame IHG for this, for frequent travelers, especially those that carry the odd extra pod or two, it might have been nice to have seen or have been sent notification of policy change. Coffee for some is important and to us this is probably worth about half a star on the hotel standard rating. Again, we will stay again and are more angry with IHG than this establishment where we find the staff courteous and pleasant to deal with. Apart from that, the room was great and I did dress to go and fetch coffee at 500ish in the morning. Bad timing, the coffee machines were being cleaned and out of service for the next 15 minutes or so. On a revisit some 25 minutes later the machines were working and I will say the coffee is better than it used to be from the 'pump' containers.

“Nice place for a Quick Visit”

Everyone was very nice, the breakfast was really good with a nice selection, and the rooms are a little dated but a nice size with the added Keurig, mini refrigerator and microwave. Everyone was very nice, the breakfast was really good with a nice selection, and the rooms are a little dated but a nice size with the added Keurig, mini refrigerator and microwave. A nice surprise of fresh cookies in the lobby every afternoon. The front of the hotel faces the main highway but the view in the back is very pretty with beautiful hills and a gorgeous sunrise. The only downside while we were there was the pool and hot tub needed to be cleaned.
