What a great hotel. We stayed here after our flight was delayed and we were issued vouchers for the night. The room was spacious and looked newly decorated. The shower was amazing.The bed and pillows were comfortable. The staff at the front desk at 1:30am was welcoming. In the morning, Stewart, working the front desk in the morning, let us use our airport meal vouchers for a very substantial buffet breakfast.

“Good pool for families”

I don't usually write reviews but as a parent that finds herself traveling with kids in the mid-west, I wanted to let families know that if you want to burn off energy in a nice pool (not huge, but big enough) with a basketball hoop and hot tub that's nice and truly hot (for tired parents) and a very nice indoor pool area, this worked out great. The Green Mill bar/restaurant was nice too, friendly, and a fair number of locals which tells me it's a decent spot to hang.

A refurbished Holiday Inn that was a homeless shelter for migrants during and after COVID but a Holiday Inn before that and now has just the basics. The room is very basic and not at all decorated. A refurbished Holiday Inn that was a homeless shelter for migrants during and after COVID but a Holiday Inn before that and now has just the basics. The room is very basic and not at all decorated. I do like that they replaced carpeting with vinyl flooring, but everything else looks like it was not replaced. Especially the one 70's looking sofa chair that sits by itself in the corner of the room. The mattress is good and bathroom decent. But I'd rather a walk in shower than a bathtub. The walls are all stucco white with absolutely no decorations. This the sterile look. The night desk clerk did not recognize my Diamond Status so I had to ask for the free breakfast coupon when he first gave me a 10% discount one. He also has no idea what I was talking about when I asked where the marketplace items were so I could use my $20 vouchers. Lastly my room overlooked the rooftop with air conditioners on it. Not exactly a room upgrade. The morning desk clerk was the exact opposite and knew about my vouchers. The breakfast is in what is usually a good local pizza restaurant chain. Yet the eggs were not real, the sausage was burnt from the microwave I'm guessing and were awful and the hash browns, I don't even know what that was. The orange juice was good at least. I didn't bother tipping since the waiter never came back after serving the food. The place is clean and cheaper than anything else around so it's got that going for it. If you just want a clean decent mattress to sleep in this hotel is the best value in Bloomington.

“Nice but the Bar Closes Too Early”

Nice, clean, freshly remodeled rooms. Average room prices. BEWARE: Bar closes very early. We were told (rudely) at 8:45 that we were too late to be served. Next time, we'll find a hotel where we can get a nightcap (and maybe a snack or dessert) before going to our rooms.
