The Holiday Express was the perfect location for our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Although we had a quiet stay, it’s obvious that the facilities are “tired” and need an update. Both treadmills need repairs or should be replaced. The key system also needs an update, as we had several problems.

Even though we booked the wrong Holiday Inn (we thought we booked the one closer to the airport), the stay worked out just fine. They were nice enough to come get us from the incorrect hotel. Even though we booked the wrong Holiday Inn (we thought we booked the one closer to the airport), the stay worked out just fine. They were nice enough to come get us from the incorrect hotel. The room was comfortable, and the front desk clerk, pleasant. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but they do offer breakfast. There’s a Trader Joes and a Perkins Diner walking distance from the hotel. The hotel is only about 10 mins from the airport.

This hotel has a great location near I-494 and close to shopping areas like Mall of America and Southdale. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and quite large. “Needs some updating”

Hotel desperately needs some updating. Carpet is worn, lighting was poor in our room, not enough outlets. Most spaces in this hotel seemed very cramped (room, hallways, bathrooms, etc). Local area has food and shopping. Close to MOA, though no shuttle over there. Requested high floor away from elev… lisää

Hotel desperately needs some updating. Carpet is worn, lighting was poor in our room, not enough outlets. Most spaces in this hotel seemed very cramped (room, hallways, bathrooms, etc). Local area has food and shopping. Close to MOA, though no shuttle over there. Requested high floor away from elevator, and were given a first floor room. Non IHG members have to pay each night for parking, which seems ridiculous, as there is no parking lot security that we could see. One of the alternate doors near the dumpsters doesn't close fully, which was a little concerning at night. Pool was nice and warm, though we had to get out, due to some teens doing nonstop cannon balls, while their parents just watched. No hot tub. WIFI is very spotty. Breakfast was normal IHG fare, but prepared poorly. Bath towels are very worn. Everything seemed pretty clean, beds were pretty comfy, everything worked properly and staff was mostly friendly, but we would not stay here again due to the condition of the property.
