I've stayed at this hotel 7 times in the past year because of a family emergency. It's practical because there is a workspace and a kitchen. But this recent stay will be my last. I've stayed at this hotel 7 times in the past year because of a family emergency. It's practical because there is a workspace and a kitchen. But this recent stay will be my last. I was in the middle of my father's dying, had food in the refrigerator preparing for Thanksgiving, had my "office" set up to work away from home when I come in one evening to find out that they are starting a roofing project the next morning at 8:00am. I have to be in online meetings the next three days so I said "no way can I stay on the 3rd floor with roofers overhead." So at 9:00 at night after being at my father's bedside, I am shuffling all my stuff to a lower level. I ended up in a room next to the elevator that was actually filthy. The worst time to being going through an upheaval like this. And I expect I'll be waking up to noise at 8:00 am.
