I had a fantastic stay at Staybridge Suites Rochester, MN – Commerce Drive. 5 stars from me! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Their customer service is truly outstanding. Friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist with anything needed. It’s clear they genuinely care about their guests and take pride in what they do. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Everything felt fresh and organized, and it was easy to relax after a long day. If you're staying in Rochester, I highly recommend this hotel. Amazing staff, excellent service, and spotless rooms. What more could you ask for!

We have stayed at this Staybridge Suites multiple times while in Rochester for treatments at Mayo Clinic. The managers, Steve and Don, are the best managers we have ever dealt with in a hotel. The staff are all friendly. The hotel is clean, comfortable and safe. Social hour in the evenings provide a nice variety of food and breakfast always has a variety of foods to choose from. Hope to never have to switch hotels when wee go to Rochester.

“Good couple of stays”

I stayed at this location a couple of times while on a business trip during June of 2025. I was pleased with both stays. My rooms were clean and relatively quiet. I stayed at this location a couple of times while on a business trip during June of 2025. I was pleased with both stays. My rooms were clean and relatively quiet. I appreciated the kitchen with large refrigerator. The beds were comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay here again when traveling through Rochester. My only reasons for 4 stars over 5 are that the hallways smelled like dirty animals both times (it is a location that allows pets) although, thankfully, my rooms did not. I mention this because I know some people have serious allergies and this may be a concern. My other issue was with breakfast my second morning. It was, to put it mildly, a mess. It appeared that the area was woefully understaffed. The girl I saw working was trying very hard but she could not keep up. Food was out and not being refilled, milk was out, the area was getting dirty. I do not blame the worker. She was very apologetic and seemed to be doing all she could. There just wasn’t enough help. I was curious about the front desk employee. She occasionally would walk over to the breakfast area and do a slight bit of tidying but sometimes seemed more in the way than actually helpful. I think I can speak for other guests in saying this person should have been more active in maintaining the breakfast area since there was such an issue. Does the one breakfast experience make me not want to return? Not at all. I have stayed when the staff was obviously up to the challenge. However, if in future stays I continue to experience similar issues then I would be inclined to look elsewhere.
