“A pleasant surprise”

We had points for one night from another hotel and decided to try this Holiday Inn Express. We were not disappointed. We had a king room with a sofa bed and it really was roomy. The bed was comfortable and what I liked was that there was a lot of soft lighting in the room. I also liked that they were enough plugs for all our gadgets near the bed. Another nice thing was that the shampoo, lotion, hand soap, etc were in bottles on the wall so we didn't have to deal with those little bars of soap. The pool temperature and hot tub temperature were just right. Breakfast items were good and I like the little pancake maker. I think those are nicer than waffle makers when somebody doesn't know how to use a waffle maker. We had no trouble finding parking there. It was also close to many eating places and many shopping areas. I felt safe in this area. Lavette, Perla, and Jimy at the front desk went out of their way to be friendly and accommodating. That alone made a difference for me in liking the hotel. I would definitely go there again or tell somebody else to go there.

“A wonderful Holiday Express!”

We came to this hotel in the rain. It is just outside of St. Paul, our next day destination. Vernon, the night clerk was able to put us in room #305. It was a nice quiet and comfortable room, except for the interstate noise. It had the best black out shades for sleeping. We applaud Vernon as he had… lisää

We came to this hotel in the rain. It is just outside of St. Paul, our next day destination. Vernon, the night clerk was able to put us in room #305. It was a nice quiet and comfortable room, except for the interstate noise. It had the best black out shades for sleeping. We applaud Vernon as he had to put up with an extremely noisy group in the lobby that night. We also want to thank him for all of the quarters that he had in order for us to do our laundry. Right next door is a restaurant called Ray J's from which we ordered a fish dinner to share in our room.

“Good for 1 night ”

The outside looks very nice, but the inside isn't your typical Holiday Inn. The lobby was very small as well as the breakfast area. Not your typical welcoming foyer area for a Holiday Inn. The room was just average, nothing special, but it was clean and ok for 1 night.
