We stayed here for a family wedding. The location was fantastic as it was only five minutes from the venue. The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. Bathrooms were very spacious, too. We stayed here for a family wedding. The location was fantastic as it was only five minutes from the venue. The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. Bathrooms were very spacious, too. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful in all matters to include early check in when requested. The hot breakfast included many delicious options including eggs, bacon, sausages, potatoes and made to order specialty pancakes. It was an enjoyable experience for all and we will definitely stay there again.

“A must place to stay”

If you plan to visit the gulf coast of Mississippi, be sure to stay at the Inn at Long Beach. It is a beautiful hotel across the street from the Gulf. If you plan to visit the gulf coast of Mississippi, be sure to stay at the Inn at Long Beach. It is a beautiful hotel across the street from the Gulf. The hotel is well maintained, large rooms with plenty of storage. Both tub and shower. No closet per se but a place with hangers for coats, etc. The buffet breakfast, at no extra charge, includes fresh squeezed orange juice, made to order pancakes and a variety of other dishes. There are hot drinks available all day long and cookies mid-afternoon. The hotel has a shop open all the time with cold beverages, snacks, food items and toiletries. Other benefits are complimentary laundry facilities (bring soap or purchase at the shop) and a microwave. These are on the 5th floor. There is a fitness center and a water cooler right outside of it. Madge at the front desk is a treasure! She gave us a couple of excellent dinner recommendations and also suggested we visit Fairhope when we mentioned that we wanted to visit Alabama. Fairhope is fabulous; art galleries and upscale shops galore. All in all, you can't go wrong staying at the Inn at Long Beach. I highly recommend it and I am quite fussy.

“Excellent weekend getaway”

Wonderful hotel, very clean , comfortable beds and room with excellent staff ! What more could you ask for. The breakfast was very good and the view of the Sound is beautiful. I highly recommend this property and we will be back.

Looks good outside, first appearances in entry and main area was very nice. Then with all our luggage, we go to the assigned room. It was filthy to say the least!! The carpet was so stained and filthy that we regretted even walking on it with shoes on, the beds looked partially made as the beds Kurt was literally torn off the bed and I do mean torn. No mattress cover just sheet on top of a very dirty mattress. We called front desk asking for someone to come up. Two room keepers came and agreed it was not acceptable. Went back down and spoke to a lady who said there were no more King rooms available, but 1 room with two queens, we paid for king oceanview. She finally found one king but it was a handicapped room. OK, we took it even though it had a order We kicked the air on and managed. To bad this is such a poor review because the hotel is very pretty, just not well cleaned.
