My husband and I spent four delightful, restful nights at Rocky Point Ranch while we explored Idaho and western Montana. We stayed in "Jessie's Room" which was spacious, quiet and had a very comfortable king bed. After flying into Spokane, on Day One we did a bit of sightseeing in Spokane, then took a scenic drive to the ranch by way of Priest River, Idaho, traveling down Highway 200 to Thompson Falls. Day Two we drove to the Bison Range on the Flathead Reservation, hiked and saw Buffalo - as promised. Two thumbs up! From there, Patti and Sam suggested we drive to nearby Polson for lunch and enjoy Flathead Lake. Beautiful! Day Three we drove back up Highway 200 to the small town on Noxon where I visited the cemetery and researched some ancestors who were early pioneers in the area, visiting the fabulous folks at the Cabinet Forest Rangers Office, then on to the cabin where my ancestors lived on Bull River. From there, again at the great suggestion of Patti and Sam, we drove to Kootenai Falls where we hiked and enjoyed the magnificent scenery and Suspension Bridge. There was just enough of a crowd to feel comfortable, but never was it annoyingly packed. Day Four we woke up early and drove a little over 2 hours into Glacier National Park to spend the entire day there. Yes, it was some driving, but the scenery is truly breathtaking and never got old. Plus, it stayed light till 10 pm so we never had to drive in the dark. All this to say, there is much to do in this area and it truly felt like we could "get away from it all" and take a real vacation. Wish we could have spent more time at the ranch - would be a great place for a family reunion or a wedding. On the return route to Spokane, we took backroads so we were able to have a completely new route back, through Coeur d'Alene which is another cute town to explore. Patti and Sam are generous, helpful hosts. We hope to be back again someday soon.

Gorgeous property along the Clark River, grassy quiet areas, lots of flowers, gazebos, picnic tables, and a beautiful deck overlooking it all. Comfortable beds, nice bathroom, good breakfasts. Hosts were friendly and quite helpful, even offered beer, wine, water or soft drinks. Wifi quite slow. No … lisää

Antique lovers will appreciate the décor, both inside and out.

“A Wonderful Time”

This is a wonderful out of the way bed and breakfast. Sam and Patti make you feel very welcome in their home. Everything was clean and breakfast was delicious. They also took the time to recommend some amazing things for us to do and see.

Our room was decorated with an attention to detail, very clean with the most comfortable king bed, and the breakfasts were delicious.
