Best Western has become my new favorite place to stay when I'm traveling. From Nevada to Nebraska to Iowa to Pennsylvania to Tennessee to Florida, over the last 20 years, I have never been disappointed. On my return trip from San Francisco to Chicago, I stopped at the Best Western Plus North Platte Inn & Suites in North Platte, Nebraska. Locate at 3201 South Jeffers Street, off I-80, the four-story hotel offers 146 rooms, including 24 suites. Among its amenities are a 24-hour front desk, 24-hour indoor swimming pool, fitness center, business center, free private parking, 24-hour laundromat, dry cleaning, lounge and hot tub/whirlpool. And a hot buffet breakfast with coffee, juices, waffles, pastries, eggs, fruit, bacon, sausage and cereals. I booked a King Room with a king-sized bed, refrigerator, microwave, coffee/tea maker, air conditioning, free wi-fi, flat screen TV with cable programming, complimentary wireless internet access, private bathroom, desk/work area and iron/ironing board.

“Weekend stay”

Rooms were a good size . This is an older hotel showing signs of wear and tear. Fairly clean, breakfast was fine, nice location by everything. Beds were fine. Breakfast lady very friendly. We felt comfortable and safe.

This property is lovely and well maintained. It is easily accessible off the highway, and sits next to a farm equipment dealer and a fantastic military memorial. This property is lovely and well maintained. It is easily accessible off the highway, and sits next to a farm equipment dealer and a fantastic military memorial. (I highly recommend enjoying this at sunset. It's spectacular to see how the waning light reflects off the brickwork). This hotel offers large, spacious rooms, a sundry shop, pool with hot tub, workout center and FREE hot breakfast. The beds were clean and comfortable. The shower worked well. But the A/C unit? A 747 would have been quieter!! If you turned it off, you were incredibly hot. By leaving it on, sleeping was impossible. The toilet stopped flushing. It was a mess. The breakfast was better than most: eggs, biscuits and gravy, fruit and cereals. Great location, it just needs some minor adjustments.
