Let me say, I love BW. One thing that keeps me coming back is the breakfast. After hanging out who has time to worry about where they are going honest the next morning. Now me! Now let’s get into this review. This was a fairly good BW. The hotel has a modern updated feel. The room was equipped with a microwave and mini fridge. This is need nowadays. The bathroom had a nice standup shower BUT the sliding door would not seat closed. Chyle, that door kept creeping open like a thief in the night. LOL. The room was clean but needed a few minor upgrades. See the pics. Now why didn’t they CLEAN the shower. There was mold/mildew in one of the corners and the ceiling paint was peeling. The shade in the room was stained. I feel like these things would have been caught if there was some sort of quality inspection. My first night, the TV wasn’t working but it was handled the next day. I can say, the response time to issues is fairly good. Overall, for the price I paid, BW is always my go to option. The manager did contact me within 24 hours about my feedback. Next time offer me a DISCOUNT. Bottom line, yes I would stay at the BW again and you should too. The hotel is 5 minutes from American Dream Mall!

“Definitely worth staying at”

Very nice rooms and well decorated, large space. I would definitely stay there again - great value. If you travel with pets just know that first floor rooms do not exist and there wasn't a trash recepticle for pest waste outside. Great staff.

We spent five nights here in a King room with sofa bed (booked for three people). The location is the clear winner: a 15-minute ride on the #320 bus ($4.95) drops you straight into Port Authority with coach-style seats and only a couple of stops. The American Dream mall and MetLife Stadium are also a quick drive away. Free parking was plentiful. The room itself was basic but freshly updated, with a standard window AC unit. No frills, but clean and functional. Service, however, felt self-serve. We had to pull out the sofa bed ourselves and fetch our own bedding from the front desk. Elevators were frequently out of order during our stay. Breakfast was on par with BestWestern brand: a cramped area with very limited options. Bottom line: Great for budget-conscious NYC visitors who prioritize location and don’t mind DIY touches.

Stayed here for 6 ays. Check in and out was smooth. They took a $50 refundable deposit at check in and informed me it will be refunded after checkout. Stayed here for 6 ays. Check in and out was smooth. They took a $50 refundable deposit at check in and informed me it will be refunded after checkout. Room size was perfect with a good size tv and a coffee machine as well as an AC which came in handy in this hot weather. The housekeeping was really below average. During our 6 day stay there our room was done up only twice and cleaned only once. This after me requesting them to clean it at least once every two days. We had to go down and throw garbage in the outside bins as no one picked it up. Also breakfast was included but it’s very very basic. The area where it’s served can be described as tiny for a hotel which is normally always sold out. This the crowd there every morning is crazy with people creating nuisance there. They use disposable plates and spoons which causes extra garbage which isn’t good. For a hotel which charges a decent rate and is sold out mostly, I am disappointed by the housekeeping as well as the basic breakfast. Location is great and like someone has said, the NJ transit bus 320 leaves from the front of the hotel and gets you near Times Square in around 20 mins for around $4.95 per person. Area around the hotel is full of restaurants and thus a great evening is possible.
