“I will only stay in Hamptons from now on...”

I wwas really pleased with the stay me and my kids had there. I can't beleive that some people would put such bad reviews. There was nothing wrong with my stay. The rooms were great,breakfast was also great. I called the front desk for some towles and they showed in about a minutewith freash ones.

All of the staff I encountered were top-notch, courteous, and professional, and they went out of their way to accommodate my stay. My wife and I had reservations for two nights; however, my wife fell, broke her leg on the afternoon of our first full day, requiring hospitalization and surgery. She was then placed in a rehabilitation facility. I had to extend my stay. When I told the desk manager my situation, asking him to extend my stay, he reduced my room rate. The breakfast lady had overheard my wife’s disappointment on the first morning that the oatmeal was not ready and made sure the next morning that the oatmeal was fully cooked. When I told the breakfast lady about my wife breaking her leg the day before, she gave me a muffin to take to my wife in the hospital. This Hampton Inn is under renovation, and when we/I stayed in early April 2025, the third floor was being worked on. The hotel needed a makeover, but the water was hot, and the water pressure in my second-floor shower was good. The breakfast was the typical Hampton Inn breakfast, but I learned to make a delicious pecan waffle (pour a cup of batter into the waffle maker, sprinkle a half cup of chopped pecans on top of the batter, close and flip the maker). I returned in late April to bring my wife home and stayed on the newly renovated 3rd floor. The renovations were nicely done. My only suggestion is to add a safety bar across the back of the shower. The safety bar in my room was on the toilet side, which was no use getting in and out of the shower.

“Cold showers.”

This hotel is under renovation, so I’ll give them some slack. Clean and quiet, but the shower was not hot, only approached warm, at best. That’s a deal breaker for me. I will not stay here again.
