We loved everything about the inn and its staff. The location is ideal. It is within walking distance to Santa Fe historic District as well as Canyon Road area. The shuttle service they provide is invaluable. Breakfast is amazing, as is Joe’s Restaurant and Tequila Bar for dinner. Every one of the staff is so kind, welcoming and willing to assist, especially Reyes. What would make it perfect would be a refrigerator in the room. We enjoyed our stay tremendously.

“Fantastic Local Santa Fe Hotel”

We loved the Inn on the Alameda! The location is fantastic. We were able to easily walk to downtown as well as to Canyon Road. We also took advantage of the proximity to Joe’s Tequila Bar. The breakfast was also quite good.

“Kindness and comfort.”

The location is perfect for exploring the nearby galleries on Canyon Road. But what really made this place special were the people who went the extra mile to engage and make my stay so enjoyable. I want to give a shout out to Raiysa in the restaurant. Always with a welcoming smile and superb service! And the breakfast buffet was a nice feature which I didn’t expect. Thank you ! I have to give a HUGE thank you to the night security man, Carlos or Charlie… I had ordered an Uber the night before to take me to the airport and it never arrived. He graciously offered to take me when he didn’t need to do that. Truly an angel. I won’t forget. Santa Fe has plenty magic of happening and that is just another example of the kindness that exists there. I will come back. Thanks again.

We agree with all the positive comments in previous reviews: excellent location, attractive facility, very clean and comfortable, extensive hot breakfast, extremely pleasant and helpful staff. That said, I'd like to a few more pluses and a few caveats. Pluses: Laundry room--only one washer and one dryer in one building, but it was very helpful to have it, since we stayed 6 nights. Attention to parking: A parking attendant manages the lot and reserves spaces for hotel guests. Otherwise, too many space might be taken by restaurant patrons. The attendant John is extremely helpful and friendly as well. Preference is given to hotel guests in Joe's Tequila Bar if there is a wait. Although the hotel provides free shuttle service within a one mile radius (a wonderful amenity which we did use once to go to dinner), the free town bus stops immediately in front of the hotel. It runs about every half hour. It was nice to pick up that bus when walking around town rather than calling the hotel to come get us. Caveats: Very small bathroom No fridge in room No smart TVs, so no options for streaming. They say they are working on replacing the current TVs. No elevator in the 3-story traditional building we were in (but there was an elevator in another building). We were glad to be on the first floor. The outdoor wrought iron chairs on patio were uncomfortable. Wish there were cushions available. The bed frame had a metal bottom that reached to the floor to keep things from rolling underneath. Good idea but we were accidentally constantly kicking it and it made an annoying noise. (Minor complaint) We would definitely stay here again.
