“Lovely, unique inn”

“Worth it. Yummy breakfast. Quiet. Well appointed rooms. Great hosts!”
So glad we found this location had a room. We had a queen bed, small but functional bathroom, a couch and a make up table. 1 1/2 miles from central Taos. “A great location for historical Taos with friendly hosts and delicious breakfasts”
We were greeted and directed to the cozy lobby by the cute resident cat which was an added bonus. Our host was extremely helpful with his local knowledge and navigating around the town and historical village. The room was clean and had plenty of pillows and lots of blankets for the cool nights. “We come back here whenever I visit family in Taos.”
Wow! Beautiful room. Great bed. Friendly, super accommodating service by Robert and Jule who are hands-on and very available. Great home made breakfast. Robert bakes bread each night. Hot tub. Heated pool. This place is a jewel and we highly recommend it.

We actually hadn't intended to stay at the Inn on the Rio. We were doing the Enchanted Circle and hadn't wanted to go into Taos at the height of tourist season. But . . .
