This hotel did not disappoint. One11 is in the perfect location for everything we wanted to see or experience! I highly recommend this hotel when visiting New Orleans.

Overall, I thought this was a great hotel and really enjoyed our stay. The views are beautiful, and the location is excellent—close enough to easily enjoy the French Quarter, but far enough away that you don’t feel like you’re right in the middle of all the noise and activity. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the pillows were great, and I really enjoyed the hotel’s amenities. There was a lot to love about this property. That said, I probably would not recommend it for families or groups who plan to keep food, snacks, or drinks in their room. The “refrigerator” is essentially a small refrigerated drawer, so there really isn’t enough space to store leftovers from all the amazing New Orleans restaurants. There is also no microwave in the room, on the floor, or available in the lobby. My other frustration was the lack of trash cans. I’m someone who likes to tidy up after myself and make things a little easier for housekeeping, especially when we have empty soda cans, drink containers, boxes, or other trash. There really wasn’t anywhere to dispose of those things or properly clean up the room ourselves. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for couples or adults looking for a clean, comfortable hotel with great views and a convenient location. However, for families, larger groups, or anyone who likes to bring leftovers, snacks, and drinks back to the room, the lack of a real refrigerator, microwave, and accessible trash cans could be frustrating.

“Small boutique with minimalist style”

Location is spot on. Within walking distance of so many attractions and resturants. Just around the corner from trolly and ferry stop. DO NOT RECOMMEND A TERRACE ROOM. Location is spot on. Within walking distance of so many attractions and resturants. Just around the corner from trolly and ferry stop. DO NOT RECOMMEND A TERRACE ROOM. The rooms in general are minimalistic to begin with, before we even arrived, got an email with price adjustment; no reason. Did not find out reason until I called with a question about early arrivals. Was told only then that the terrace room A/C went out and they needed to put us in a different room. Okay no worries as long as we had A/C, we get there and can't check in because it is early, no worries, they can good or bags while we explore. Room is ready and the A/C has been fixed in Terrace Room - yay. The expensive room is SMALL! You walk in and there is the bed, wardrobe- no closet, and bathroom on other side of the bed with a sliding barn door and 3 walls because the shower is frosted glass. At foot of the bed is the terrace door, narrow terrace that overlooks the beautiful parking garage of the Wesitn hotel across the street. If you scoot around the metal patio set to the end of the terrace, you get a view of a paid parking area and part of canal street. Needless to say, window to terrace was never opened as I could clearly see the drivers across the way. Night one was okay, breakfast consisted of fruits, yogurt, cereal or bread. Waffle maker was not plugged in and when a guest finally plugged it in, it didn't do to well. Juices were not filled, another guest had to hunt someone down to get refilled. That night, after spending all day walking around, we returned around midnight to find the room was warm, the A/C condenser was overheating and they had to shut it off - again, was not told until I called. Options; we could move rooms or stay until fixed - Summer in LA - duh, move. So we moved at midnight, from floor 8 to 3. That standard King room was SO much more spacious, bathroom still only has 3 walls so when light comes on, you know. We stayed in that room the rest of our stay with no issues. Do note, this hotel has a beautiful history but it lacks an actual pool, it is a plunge pool meant to stand around in. Has no gym but partners with one on 3rd floor of mall across the street. No real restaurant inside so no room service, no mini fridge or coffee makers in room. No laundry room or service. The manager is super nice and listened to our issues and adjusted our bill accordingly but if you are looking for amenities, might look elsewhere. If looking for location and quaint hotel, this might be your place, just call to make sure the A/C is working.
