Great hotel with friendly staff and immaculate rooms. I came for business for a single night, and the room was perfect. Clean, modern and very nice. Not huge. Great hotel with friendly staff and immaculate rooms. I came for business for a single night, and the room was perfect. Clean, modern and very nice. Not huge. I was greeted by friendly staff, the check-in was quick. I received a couple of coupons that I used at the Italian restaurant associated with the hotel, although I received the food through room service. It’s nice and rare that a hotel even has room service, but they did. The bathroom was modern, clean and did I say immaculate? It was. The location may not be the greatest as it is not on Times Square, but the price was reasonable and it probably is a short taxi drive or walk to tourist attractions. Also the area is pretty quiet. I do not give rave reviews to all hotels but this one deserved it.

“Le Meridian on 5th.... gets 5 stars!”

First, I must say how amazing the staff is at this hotel, all driven by Anthony, the hotel manager. Exceptional service and care. I stayed for 10 days, and although the room might be a little small (hey, its NYC what do you expect??) the walk in show, large tub and bathroom was outstanding. The bed… lisää

First, I must say how amazing the staff is at this hotel, all driven by Anthony, the hotel manager. Exceptional service and care. I stayed for 10 days, and although the room might be a little small (hey, its NYC what do you expect??) the walk in show, large tub and bathroom was outstanding. The bed was super comfy, with a view of 5th avenue. Food was 5 stars, yes, I was surprised as well. Breakfast & the Italian restaurant for dinner was superb... order the veal parmigiana. One complaint, the restaurant/lobby bar closes at 11pm, and yes they ask you to leave even if you aren't finished with your drink. That needs to be addressed.

We’re frequent guests at Le Méridien New York, Fifth Avenue, and this stay reinforced why we keep coming back. The hotel is consistently comfortable, well run, with comfortable beds and nice finishes. But the real standouts are the doormen, Barry and Oswald. Every time we returned to the hotel, they greeted us with warmth and familiarity that made us feel like welcomed regulars rather than transient guests. They’re a big reason this hotel remains a favorite. Also kudos to the hotel restaurant Allora which is much improved. Breakfast there was delicious with excellent service.
