This is a well-located hotel and the rooms are comfy. That being said, on two occasions we spoke with staff members who weren’t particularly polite or welcoming. We were also stung with a $300 holding charge at check in, which was a bit of a shock, particularly as it was meant to cover costs for robe hire and two bottles of complimentary water a day, apparently? I’m not sure where $300 comes from, particularly because on the one occasion we asked for a cocktail to our room we were told this wasn’t allowed? It’s a well kept property in a decent location, but just prepare yourself for lots of rules, and a not a particularly fun vibe.
