Jamella at the front desk deserves a shoutout. She was so welcoming after our long travel day and even arranged an early check-in with a great room. Her kindness set the tone for our stay! The Chelsea location is perfect—safe, walkable, with greenery, markets, and an easy stroll to Times Square and sightseeing. We actually switched from a hotel closer to Times Square that didn’t feel as safe, and we were so glad we did. Traveling with our 7-year old and this change was a great decision. Rooms are clean with great views, breakfast adds value, and the staff is excellent. A wonderful stay—highly recommend SpringHill Suites Manhattan/Chelsea!

The hotel offers a double room with two spacious beds, which is ideal for travelers. However, the room size is quite limited, making it tight for four people to move around simultaneously. There’s also minimal space for unpacking luggage, which could be inconvenient for longer stays. The elevator operates efficiently — fast and without queues. The location is excellent, with a metro station just a short walk away, making it easy to explore the city. The breakfast area, while not large, is adequate for the hotel’s capacity. Breakfast is well-stocked and replenished quickly, though the selection is somewhat limited, covering only the essentials. The gym is in good condition and well-maintained, and guests can enjoy hot coffee and tea at the reception. Luggage storage on departure day was reliable and efficient. The staff are notably helpful and attentive throughout the stay.

“Great location”

We visited for 9 days to celebrate Christmas and our granddaughters birthday. The hotel has a great location for all the main attractions just 5 minutes from Madison Square Garden and about 10 from the Empire State Building. Everything is within easy reach with a Metro just at the end of the block.… lisää

We visited for 9 days to celebrate Christmas and our granddaughters birthday. The hotel has a great location for all the main attractions just 5 minutes from Madison Square Garden and about 10 from the Empire State Building. Everything is within easy reach with a Metro just at the end of the block. Cafes/delis and a fabulous pizza are all nearby for those late night/early morning essentials. The breakfast buffet was plentiful with hot and cold options. It was always busy. Hotel reception staff were very, helpful, polite and busy. There was also a desk where you could book tours and shuttles to the airport - all at reasonable prices. The rooms are compact and you are compensated with fabulous views over the city.

“Family fun with mediocre stay”

I was told at check out, room got hot at night because of auto heat even if you set the degrees. Internet went out during a meeting for a couple of hours. Christopher at the front desk was pleasant, professional and patient. 5 stars!!! Unfortunately some of his female counterparts were rude. An… lisää

I was told at check out, room got hot at night because of auto heat even if you set the degrees. Internet went out during a meeting for a couple of hours. Christopher at the front desk was pleasant, professional and patient. 5 stars!!! Unfortunately some of his female counterparts were rude. And know I am for women power. It’s a shame they ruin our achievements.
