Myself and my bestie stayed here on a trip to one of our favourite cities, celebrating a milestone birthday. Our room was spacious and well-appointed. The hotel is so charming and full of character. Lovingly restored by its owner, Randy (who I had the pleasure of meeting), it is full of beautiful artwork and period pieces. The staff really made our stay, with David and Kane going above and beyond. It was like staying with old friends. The ambience was perfect, and the location second to none for those looking to stay in downtown Manhattan. We will be back!

The location is arguably one of the best in NYC, surrounded by both iconic landmarks and exciting new spots to explore. A huge bonus: the area becomes wonderfully pedestrian-friendly on weekends when the streets are closed to cars. What truly makes the Historic Blue Moon Hotel special, though, is the staff. Warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful in a way that is increasingly rare to find. David, Bram, and Kane — thank you for making my stay so memorable. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at the historic Blue Moon Hotel, and it absolutely made our New York experience even better. The building, originally built in 1879, is full of history and character. Randy, the architect and artist behind the renovations, did an incredible job preserving so much of the original charm while thoughtfully updating the space. What truly made our stay special was the staff. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful—especially Dovid and Kane. Anytime we needed anything or were looking for recommendations, they were quick to help and always pointed us in the right direction. This hotel has so much personality and authentic New York charm, mixed with humor, warmth, and great energy. We loved the neighborhood and the easy walking distance to Chinatown, Little Italy, and SoHo, which made exploring the city effortless. We would never stay anywhere else.
