My wife and I️ stayed here for two nights as part of a short tour of Asheville. We loved the cleanliness and new feel of the hotel. The room, bathroom and bed were clean, comfortable and spacious. The hot breakfast was good with scrambled eggs, pre-made omelets, sausage, pancakes and oatmeal. The coffee was the best we have found at a breakfast bar on our 11-day trip across the South. It uses an automated Costa coffee machine which grinds and brews each cup on-demand. A couple things we would change are that the breakfast eggs can get a bit cold. They should be maintaining a temperature of 140 degrees. Having a microwave oven in the breakfast area to re-heat food would be helpful. Also, the luggage carts are tiny and their triangular design makes them difficult to load much luggage.

“Comfortable , convenient and reasonably priced”

This had everything we needed at a reasonable price. It was right by the highway but not noisy. We stayed two nights and both nights we could walk to a nice place to eat.

My friends and I had a great time here. Checking in with Alan on day one was fun. He is professional and courteous. The other staff were all friendly and sweet. I was thankful for Breakfast, the Gym, the Pool omg :), and complimentary hot beverages… I’d definitely recommend 💯

Holiday Inn Express–style hotel: comfortable beds, clean room, everything you would expect from the brand. Holiday Inn Express breakfast: good variety and a spacious seating area. Pool is a bit unusual, as it is both indoor and outdoor. The outdoor section is very small, but it is probably nicer in winter. The hotel is located in a somewhat isolated area, but there are several restaurants within walking distance. Important note: the hotel is not located in downtown Asheville. This was disappointing, as adding “downtown” to the hotel name can be misleading. I’ve noticed this happens quite often with Holiday Inn properties, so now I always double-check the location before booking.
