Stayed here due to a family funeral. Check in & Staff: All of my room preferences were honored, and the staff were all friendly. I wasn’t welcomed as a member, but that’s no biggie. Rooms: Both of our rooms were while dated, were clean. The only issue we had was that the water wasn’t hot. After letting it run for five minutes. It was at best, warm. Food: The breakfast was good. The only issue was the coffee wasn’t hot in the evening and morning. Gym & Pool:I didn’t use the pool, but it looked nice. The gym, while dated, was probably one of the best that I’ve seen in a while. There is a universal, free weights, a treadmill, bike and elliptical machine. The only improvements could be a mirror and sanitizing wipes. Property- The parking lot is big and well lit. I didn’t see any undesirable people hanging around. The only restaurant close by that I saw was a Mexican one, which is right in front of the hotel. Overall, I would stay here again.

“Good location for a trip to the coast and New Bern”

We picked this hotel for a weekday trip to Beaufort and New Bern and the location was perfect for that. The hotel is located in a commercial area very near the Marine Corps Air Station. We picked this hotel for a weekday trip to Beaufort and New Bern and the location was perfect for that. The hotel is located in a commercial area very near the Marine Corps Air Station. It is set a ways back from the road so you do not hear much traffic and I did not notice any plane noise inside the room. The check in clerk was pleasant and gave me a corner room on the top floor as requested. Although it was a Monday the hotel was pretty full. Most of the guests appeared to be workers since there were lots of trucks in the parking lot. The room was large but somewhat dated. The furniture was chipped and the TV was an outdated plasma model. Strangely, there was no toilet paper holder in the bathroom. The biggest negative was the huge dent in the king bed (see photo). If I was not by myself I would have had to change rooms. The breakfast was good and included hot items.
