Awesome experience staying at Waynesvill Inn & Golf Club for a family friend's birthday celebration. Dinner for 20 people was off the charts excellent (Filet Mignon & Sea Scallops), pureed cauliflower & blistered tomato sautéed spinach. The room was really spacious & newly redecorated w a lovely balcony & great shower. Loved the vintage vibe of this beautiful located place in Waynesville. Very quiet!

“Fantastic hotel and staff”

Had a great 2 night stay in a golf /mountain view room with a balcony we loved the rocking chairs on the balcony Restaurant ladies were excellent 👌 and food great will definitely be staying again in the future perfect for a relaxing break in the smoky mountains

“Didn’t honor what we booked”

We booked this couples golf weekend months in advance. We requested the lodge (not honored), we booked king size beds (not honored). The restaurant the Grill was pretty decent. The golf and restaurant staff were very friendly. Also it’s a little weird you check-in at the pro shop for your room.

“THIS IS NOT AN INN!”

Don't consider this an Inn! This is a golf resort, and we only chose it because it was under the Hilton umbrella of properties. Don't consider this an Inn! This is a golf resort, and we only chose it because it was under the Hilton umbrella of properties. It offered none of the Hilton amenities in the plain little rooms, namely mini frig or microwave, pictures on the walls, etc. There was almost no counter top around the sink. It was some kind of a little formed unit with built in towel bars and a shelf. There is no "front desk" only the pro shop. Our breakfast at the restaurant was $75 including the tip. Hilton Honors was good (at the second call!) at helping us cancel our reservations there and rebook us at another Hilton Hotel in the area. This was a "Tapestry Collection" location which means they're not owned by Hilton by some how connected to them. Nothing there was remotely like a Hilton, and I think the Hilton logo was only used once on something that I saw there. The golf course looked beautiful, but we weren't there for golf. To call this an "inn" made no sense at all to us. There's an old building which we were in and had reserved a "historic room" which had no historic element. I think there are some rooms with rutic paneling, but not one with the size bed we had requested. The people at the proshop were nice and understanding about why we wanted to cancel our 2nd and 3rd nights there because they could probably see we hadn't been looking for a golf stay in the first place. That is the only reason to stay there.
