“Just What We Needed”
We stayed at the Super 8 hotel in Athens for two nights on March 13-14, 2026 while attending a club volleyball tournament at Ohio University. “Parents Weekend at OU visit”
The stay went well. The staff was friendly. Having breakfast, a fridge and microwave was a nice surprise. Also having movie channels was nice. I was surprised though, that there was not a coffee maker in the room.

“Clean but needs a few upgrades”
The hotel is clean but their breakfast is not good. If you get there after 8:00 AM there’s very very items left. Not much of a selection either. The staff were very nice. The beds need to replaced The location is within walking distance to a few restaurants.

“Road trip”
It was a good place to sleep and a decent distance to my planned activities. The room was clean and quiet.
