Clean, safe, comfortable hotel, okay room size. The room design is quite minimal: zero closets or drawers, and a strangely designed small metal desk and cheap blue nightstand without drawers that made me feel like I was in a college dorm 😣. And for $300 a night, can’t they afford to put some kind of pastry or muffin option out for the breakfast buffet?

“Budget Hilton”

Definitely a budget hotel that seems to target a younger demographic. No in room microwave or coffee machine. No pool. No restaurant. Seem to be in an odd location. But, the parking lot was full so lots of people stayojere.

Positives- sheets were soft. Mattress was comfortable. For the most part the room was clean. Coffee and tea available 24 hours. There were at least 10 different ways to charge your phone and other electronic devices in the room. Parking and breakfast are free. Less than 2 miles from Cleveland Clinic. Room is spacious. Typical free breakfast, yogurt, pancakes, fruit, juice, quick breads, scramble eggs, cereal, etc. Negatives-the HVAC system is loud didn't get a lot of sleep because it was cycling off and on all night. Bed is on a platform with about 2 inches between the mattress and frame. It was clear they have not cleaned between the mattress and frame in a while. There was what I assumed was adhesive residue on one wall but obviously my brain wondered is that adhesive or did someone wipe their mucus on the wall. Push button shades are nice but really unnecessary. Buttons not clearly marked for shades, so you just keep pressing buttons until something happens. While parking is free there was a semi-truck parked across about 10 spaces in the middle of the lot. If you got there late you had to park in the back of the lot. Wish they had made some other arrangements for the semi. The hotel was apparently full. The poor desk clerk appeared to be the only one on duty to address everyone's needs. They claim this is a hotel geared towards people under 40 and of significant financial means. Everyone I saw at breakfast was over 40 and I am not sure how laminate flooring and dorm furniture would appeal to the wealthy. Not being critical but there just appears to be some disconnect. Okay for one night but I don't think I would want to do an extended stay.
