We stayed three nights at the NOUN hotel as part of a business trip. We picked this property because of its location and because it’s a Marriott property. We were very happy with it! The room was spacious and definitely intentionally decorated. We didn’t mind the décor but could see that it might be a little “clean-lined” for some people, and the random Western design influences throughout the hotel are not for everyone. But the bed was super comfy; the room had an awesome large cushy chair by the window, the shower temperature and water pressure were great; the sink area had plenty of counter space; and the double window shades, while a little weird, definitely blocked out most of the light (just tiny slivers on the edges would allow light in). The room had a mini fridge and a much-appreciated Lavazza coffee maker. The less amazing aspects of the room were the weird lighting decisions (placement was bizarre and there needed to be more light in the room in general) and the room temperature control was pretty good but not stellar (however, it was scorching hot while we were there.) Wifi was good but was the kind that would boot you out if you didn’t use it for a while and then make you sign back in, which is super annoying. The fitness center was fantastic for a hotel gym and had pretty much everything that you’d need (including a fridge full of bottled waters, yay.) We ate breakfast in the hotel once and it was fine. Self-parking in the adjacent lot was $10 a day. Staff were all super nice. On two late afternoons the lobby/public areas were hopping – this property seems to host a lot of local corporate/social events, which is great people watching and/or chaotic, depending on your perspective. We had seen some previous reviews complaining about various room issues, but we think that aside from people just wanting to complain about dumb stuff, because of the hotel’s location to the university and perhaps having rates jump up on popular weekends, that might contribute to folks not feeling like they got their money’s worth. We really liked the NOUN hotel and would recommend it to anyone visiting Norman.

Passing through stayed here one night because it was pet friendly and there was ample parking space to park my U-Haul trailer. This hotel is out of my price range but I paid with points so it did not really matter. Location is great and well within walking distance of OU campus and restaurants. The… lisää

Passing through stayed here one night because it was pet friendly and there was ample parking space to park my U-Haul trailer. This hotel is out of my price range but I paid with points so it did not really matter. Location is great and well within walking distance of OU campus and restaurants. There’s only one entrance to the hotel. Overall the hotel is nice, but the decor etc is not exactly my style or preference but it was fine for my family for a night. However, there is no anti-slip bath mats in the bathroom which caused an issue when we had to take a short ER visit when my son slipped and fell & needed stitches. Ice is located on all floors. The walls are rather thin, and you could hear music blaring from rooms a few doors down in the hallway. Upon checking in we were given a coupon for two free drinks to use at the hotel bar between 5-7pm. Unfortunately, when we arrived right at 7pm so that did not do us any good.
