Excellent location if you are attending an Oregon Ducks football game or if you are touring campus. Walking distance to both. 20 min (fun walk across the bridge) to the game. The staff is EXCELLENT! I had to call prior to my arrival and Ryan (receptionist) was beyond helpful. She even provided me with advice for the area as this was my first time in Eugene. Checking in was a breeze. Super nice front desk attendants. Hotel is clean and rooms are very spacious. I booked a double. We did not hear any noises while in our room. Pleasant stay. FREE BREAKFAST is delicious! Eggs, meats, fresh pancakes, muffins, rolls, cereal and fresh coffee. Juices and milk are also provided. Well stocked the entire time it’s offered. Seating may be the only issue but guests were nice and offered to leave once finished. We noticed the pool area was small but we did not use it. We felt it was a safe area of town. We did not see anyone lurking at night or trying to break into cars. Good places to eat within walking distance as well. We would absolutely stay here again! 5/5 stars

This was my first stay at the Holiday Inn Express Suites in Eugene's University District, and I ended up glad I decided to stay here two nights during a regular Memorial Day weekend visit with my family. The single room that was assigned to me had a comfortable bed, a relaxing easy chair situated right next to the third-floor window, good lighting, a large desk, ample closet space, a small shelf near the TV with a convenient outlet just above it for charging a cellphone, a coffee-maker, micro-wave and refrigerator all in one central location and an immaculate bathroom with plenty of floor and counter space. In addition to those feature, which by themselves earn this earn this well-maintained lodging facility a high rating it's also conveniently located within a block or two from several restaurants, a grocery store, a Dutch Bros. coffee facility and entrance to a network of walking trails along the nearby Willamette River in back of the lodge. So the next time I come down to Eugene for a visit, I will definitely consider staying at this Holiday Inn location again.

“Beds were comfortable breakfast was a diabetic heaven”

Beds are always comfortable. Breakfast was not the best! Its always the same breakfast with high sugar. Egg omelettes are microwave omelets ( rubbery) the oatmeal with walnuts and raisins are a little healthier! The oven was broken so not much to puck from. All these cereal is bad for you also! Beds are always comfortable. Breakfast was not the best! Its always the same breakfast with high sugar. Its time to clean up American food! Stop serving carbs and fake food. But what should I expect when the breakfast comes with the room. The coffee was white sugar not cane sugar or honey was offered only the fake creamers like hazelnut and vanilla by coffeemate which is horrible for you. Then they had lots of breads to toast and sweet buns. Diabetic heaven! This is with all the IHG hotels . They need Robert Kennedy to come in and replace the menu! That would be great
