We stayed at the Riverfront Inn just one night while passing through Roseburg and were very happy with it. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was nice to sit out and look at the river for a bit after driving all day. Check-in was easy and the folks at the desk were friendly. It was quiet at night and we got a good night’s sleep. The price was reasonable for what we got. We would stay here again if we come back through this way.

Check-in by Heather was very nice! Our room on the second floor looked over the yard/river. The hotel is older and needs a bit of TLC and modernizing; i.e. there is one standing lamp and one sad little light fixture on the ceiling; the A/C needed to have it's filter changed (yes, I let the front desk know) and was kind of loud and not very strong. No lights by the beds, neither are there outlets. The beds and bedding however, were very good! Bathroom was functional and everything was clean. The balcony was covered in dust/spider webs as was the outside light fixture; the balcony had two chairs, but no table; we took what looked like and old side table outside for breakfast the next morning. Breakfast was surprisingly varied: hard boiled eggs, yoghurt, three different cereals, granola, packages of oatmeal, milk, bagels, English muffins and good jams (honey and Blackberry amongst them, which are personal favorites) and cream cheese; so we were happy with all of it. We had dinner at a very nice restaurant, maybe five minutes by car (even in walking distance, if you choose to). Yes, we would stay again.

“Fine for the price”

Booked this motel because it was budget friendly and looked equally nice to other options we found for much more - really fell for the photos. Reality was not quite like the pictures we saw online. Booked this motel because it was budget friendly and looked equally nice to other options we found for much more - really fell for the photos. Reality was not quite like the pictures we saw online. The exterior looked completely different and was a little more run down than the illusion of the pics we saw. Both the building and the parking lot were less than we expected. Likewise the breakfast was just ok and you have to bring the food back to your room - there is no breakfast area. For the price it was fine - but we were hoping for more.

Booked this motel because it was budget friendly and looked equally nice to other options we found for much more. It also showed a table and chairs which fit us well since we enjoy playing games in the evening. Upon our arrival it was not like the pics we saw online. The exterior looked completely different and was a little more run down than the illusion of the pics we saw. Additionally, there was no table, just a chair, so game night needed to be on the bed. Although the chair was nice to just kick back, it wasn't good for anything other than relaxing. The biggest drawback was the parking lot and entrance. There is one way in/out and it is just before a busy intersection/light. It's fine if you want to go right but forget about going left at certain times of the day. The parking lot was also tight and could be challenging to navigate at times. The breakfast was ok. Instant oatmeal, bagels, cereal, muffins and hard boiled eggs with milk, coffee and OJ. Overall, for what we paid, it was decent. Great value for having a river in the back, a microwave and mini fridge in room and a continental brkfst that was edible. I do feel it was a little misrepresented as the pics made it seem better than what it was. Staff was friendly, it was quiet (other than occasional road noise which is hard to avoid on a main drag) and I felt safe there. I would potentially consider staying again if I'm in the area since I know what to expect now. It worked for the weekend and other than my initial disappointment, it was a fine stay. No major complaints. Oh and there is a dutch bros coffee stand within walking distance. Keep in mind that entrance is also very convoluted if you are driving. Walking is no problem though.
