Mostly very good. We stayed here on a visit to family who live in Hampton Bays. The location was great for that. Front desk staff were very friendly and courteous, with a very quick check in. Room was clean and spacious. I love the shades they use instead of the usual draw curtains. There is a privacy, light filtering shade and also a room darkening shade, which worked very well. We didn't use housekeeping service because it wasn't necessary as there were plenty of towels available. They use soap and shampoo etc pumps at the vanity sink and in the shower which is fine with me. I would have liked the hand soap pump to be near the sink, but not a big deal. Breakfast area is very nice and offerings are plentiful. The drawbacks - 1. The bathroom is dim, as the light surrounding the mirror is not bright enough for husband to shave easily. 2. There are only 2 available charging ports that I could find - one on the nightstand and one below the TV. Many hotels have now opted for bedside lamps that contain charging ports right in the base. 3. Strangest low flush toilet I have ever seen - barely any water in the bowl. 4. Wifi was spotty. I used a hot spot from my phone. These are minor issues that could easily be remedied. And the price was right considering the area - least expensive of all the chain hotels. We would definitely stay here again.

“Both Elevators Out of Service”

We booked a Handicapped Accessible room, but when we got there we found that the room was on the second floor and both elevators were out of service. They stayed that way for 2 days. We booked a Handicapped Accessible room, but when we got there we found that the room was on the second floor and both elevators were out of service. They stayed that way for 2 days. The hotel gave us a substitute on fhe 1st floor. It was OK but not what we booked. On the other hand, breakfast was good - better than average.

“Okay but 2 scavengers hanging around food court”

We stayed here for our friend daughter wedding. Expected a room to have a king bed. Instead 2 double beds. Bed were okay but room were warm even when I place thermostat at 68. Also noticed 2 ladies just sit around in lobby that looks like scavengers drinking tea and coffee during the evening … lisää

Also noticed 2 ladies just sit around in lobby that looks like scavengers drinking tea and coffee during the evening Then in the morning at breakfast at the end of serving hour gathering food for themselves. Like homeless. No one says anything to them. Not something you wanna see when staying at a hotel after paying lots of money. No wonder why there no cinnamon buns.

The staff is friendly, courteous and profession, and the rooms are clean. You can request housekeeping, or be left alone. The breakfast isn't particularly good but there's plenty of it, including cereal and fruit, which you may want to have instead of the eggs and sausage, which are average at best… lisää

The breakfast isn't particularly good but there's plenty of it, including cereal and fruit, which you may want to have instead of the eggs and sausage, which are average at best. Coffee is available - and also milk in a refrigerator - 24/7, though the coffee isn't particularly good. Negatives: (1) no comfortable chair for relaxing, in the rooms - for me, this is a strong negative, which they could easily remedy; (2) the AC adjusts slowly, and does not keep an even temperature; (3) despite a no-dogs policy, a yappy dog lives with the apparently long-term resident in room 201 - keep your distance from that room, because the dog barks several times a day. They should not allow this to happen. Overall, you might stay here if your budget is tight but you can do better.
