“Good clean place to stay”

This hotel is very clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly yet professional. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast in the morning. Indoor pool. Great housekeeping staff plenty of dinner options close by. Rooms are quiet even though it’s close to the major highways

We enjoyed a fabulous three night stay at this wonderful motel/hotel. Everything was better than we anticipated after other motels in the area that had been so disappointing, so we will definitely be back on our next trip to Rochester. The room was huge and lovely with comfortable beds and pillows, and large TV with lots of channel options. The towels were terrific, so large and fluffy. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices both hot and cold, and great coffee and tea available 24/7. I enjoyed the pool, small but deep enough at 4 feet for my aqua exercise/PT. And the hot tub was a bonus! My family spent some morning time in the very beautiful back yard, comfortable chairs, a fire pit and grill, and truly gorgeous flowers, shrubs and trees. Never seen anything like that at a motel before. Finally, every staff member I interacted with was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and always made us feel welcome. Highly recommend this Fairfield to anyone in the Rochester area. We were willing to travel from Greece to Brighton daily, where my son lives, because the comfort here was worth the 15 or so minute ride. Thanks for a memorable weekend.

“Convenient and comfortable”

For our purposes, the location was perfect — tucked just off the main street, yet surrounded by plenty of restaurant options. The room was clean with comfortable beds and good amenities. For our purposes, the location was perfect — tucked just off the main street, yet surrounded by plenty of restaurant options. The room was clean with comfortable beds and good amenities. We also appreciated that free Wi-Fi and self-parking were included in the price. The breakfast spread offered a nice variety, and the staff were consistently kind and welcoming. Overall, a convenient and comfortable stay that suited our needs very well.

“Air Conditioning Fail”

Over the past several years, I have stayed at this hotel several times. It has always been one of my favorites. Unfortunately, no longer. The lobby, hallways and elevator were all lacking air conditioning…warm and humid. (And, yes, it was in the mid-80’s outdoors). Our room was 71 to 73 degree… lisää

Over the past several years, I have stayed at this hotel several times. It has always been one of my favorites. Unfortunately, no longer. The lobby, hallways and elevator were all lacking air conditioning…warm and humid. (And, yes, it was in the mid-80’s outdoors). Our room was 71 to 73 degrees the entire weekend, no matter what we set the thermostat to. The room remained warm and muggy all weekend. Maintenance was unable/unwilling to help; someone came up twice to fiddle with the thermostat, but nothing changed. To say it was uncomfortable is an understatement. Some other minor issues were the pillows which were too soft and very flat. Otherwise, this is a decent hotel—friendly, clean rooms and bathrooms, plenty of towels, tissues and toilet paper (the 3 T’s !) There is a small refrigerator and a microwave in each room. Blackout drapes help keep the sun out of your eyes (and from warming up the room further). They just need to get their air conditioning working.
