“Great place to stay in Santa Fe”

We loved our stay here and were happy to support this Indigenous owned and managed hotel. We stayed in the Hacienda which was lovely. The Service was great. We loved our stay here and were happy to support this Indigenous owned and managed hotel. We stayed in the Hacienda which was lovely. The Service was great. Good continental breakfast, but lovely happy hour and delicious cookies in the room. The staff was terrific. We also loved being 15 minutes from the Square in an area that was new to us. The free shuttle to all downtown sites was a great bonus.

We chose Hotel Santa Fe as it is close to the Santa Fe Plaza where the Spanish Market was being held. The room was spacious; breakfast was on the 6th level - basic items such as oatmeal, pastry, bagels. We chose Hotel Santa Fe as it is close to the Santa Fe Plaza where the Spanish Market was being held. The room was spacious; breakfast was on the 6th level - basic items such as oatmeal, pastry, bagels. We greatly appreciated having a van that would take us to the Plaza (not a far walk) and then take us back later given that one of us needed assistance. My only complaint is that the hotel was having some construction - would have liked them to notify us when we made the reservation.

“Vegetables but no Kale!”

Caught up with my good mate for the first time since 2019 with Covid & snowstorms getting into the act previously! He chose the Hotel Santa Fe and its restaurant, and we lobbed during 'Happy Hour'., luckily for the wallet. The meals were great and only $15 a plate plus well priced drinks. The staff… lisää

Caught up with my good mate for the first time since 2019 with Covid & snowstorms getting into the act previously! He chose the Hotel Santa Fe and its restaurant, and we lobbed during 'Happy Hour'., luckily for the wallet. The meals were great and only $15 a plate plus well priced drinks. The staff were all attentive & super friendly and we had a good meal & chat, catching up on the latest news. My buddy is a vegetarian, and he always gets me to sample! It was good but give the man red meat I say. The Hotel is centrally located so we went for a stroll through the Plaza after our meal.

We spent 3 nights here and overall there were positives and negatives for us. First the positives: The staff were very welcoming and friendly; The bed was comfortable and the shower was decent (both essential for us in a hotel); There was a shuttle bus service which was really useful and very much appreciated; The mini toiletries provided were very nice; There were robes and slippers which were also appreciated; The happy hour was a nice touch. The negatives: The hotel had experienced a fire in the week leading up to our visit and we were not notified of this, consequently, there was no restaurant as the main hotel was closed, with only the hacienda part operating. Disappointingly, we were not notified of this before we arrived and had we known, we may have booked elsewhere; The breakfast was ok, very average and not a lot of choice. It was the same every morning; The location was slightly further out of downtown than we thought, perhaps our fault; The hot tub was also out of action during our visit; Water was only provided in the room once during our stay, would have expected more than that; Due to very limited rooms and communal space, the whole place was lacking in atmosphere somewhat; The hotel is tired, the furnishings etc could use an update. This is a hotel which needs some money spending on it. Hopefully, the renovation will do this and improve things for the future. Overall, our stay was ok, but we would choose elsewhere if in Santa Fe again.
