Stayed in unit 306. Would probably not go back to this unit but would definitely go back to Emerald Isle. Our condo was very dated and needed a deep cleaning. Stayed in unit 306. Would probably not go back to this unit but would definitely go back to Emerald Isle. Our condo was very dated and needed a deep cleaning. Master bathroom has great tiled shower but nasty yucky wicker storage drawers! The kitchen had peeling cabinets and it looked as if the base board in the kitchen had been removed...? Too, in the master bedroom, some holes in the wall needs patching and the whole condo needs painting. However rhe books were clean the lobby foyer and lobby bathrooms were spotless and the staff very nice. Like the secure access to parking lot and pool area and lobby. Security guard on duty in afternoons/ evenings very nice

“Fun Sunny Florida Vacation - just get the codes!”

PROS: The unit we rented was perfect for our needs with two bedrooms (one K bed and one Q bunk bed); full kitchen; balcony overlooking the pool and beach. The pool is open 9am - 11 pm and is kept very clean by the staff. There are plenty of chairs/tables/loungers; and a hot tub. Long walkway across dune to beach with a hose station about halfway down - very nice to rinse the sand before re-entering the building. If you do not bring beach chairs/umbrella, there is company that rents these just at the end of the dune crossing. Looked a little pricey, so you may want to go to Alvin's Island across the street and pick up a cheap set for your stay. You will need shade when you are on the beach because the sun can be brutal. Our unit had a full size washer/dryer; dishwasher; expected amenities. There are two elevators which are busy during check in/check out times but otherwise prompt. There are luggage carts easily available to bring in all of your bags in one trip. The building is walking distance to several restaurants and shops. There is a local trolley that comes through, but we did not take it. There is also a convenience store right next door which is perfect for last minutes drinks, snacks, and sundries. Beaches have the whitest, softest sand. Water can be clear and tropical in good weather, but will be darker/rougher if there has been stormy weather. Activities such as jet skis/charters/mall are driving distance. CONS: We received numerous emails and documents from Beach Getaways prior to the trip. Not one included the codes to get into the parking lot gate or the building. In fact our communications from BG indicated there was no code. Make sure you call them directly before you arrive at the property so you will be able to open the gate and open the doors to the building. Then, during our stay the various keypads at the gate and building intermittently malfunctioned. This was more of an inconvenience than a deal breaker. We were never stranded outside for more than 10 minutes or so. There are key codes needed at the parking gate, front of building, rear of building, beach to pool access and then one for your unit door. There is no manned front desk so you will need to call the 1-800 number in the text they send to you. Codes are 6-digits so ask BG to text them to you as you may not always have pen/paper in your hand along with your suitcases and coolers.

We booked this with AirBnB. It is ocean front and the view from the balcony was amazing! There were 2 bedrooms with one shower and a bathtub/shower combo. We booked this with AirBnB. It is ocean front and the view from the balcony was amazing! There were 2 bedrooms with one shower and a bathtub/shower combo. The master bedroom was comfortable and there were plenty of drawers and hangers for clothes. There was a microwave, dishwasher, stove/oven, refrigerator, plenty of dishes, utensils, cookware and dining room table. There was a large capacity washer and dryer which was wonderful since we were staying for a month. The living room had a smart tv 2 chairs and a couch. The living room furniture was old and very broken down which made it uncomfortable. The leasing company was wonderful! They kept us informed about everything we needed to know while staying there. They were very easy to communicate with and always answered questions quickly. There were 2 pools and a hot tub which was very popular. There was also a fitness room with treadmill, bike (back is broken), stair stepper and a skiing machine. There was also some weight machines. All in all it was a great location for January! The view of the Gulf of Mexico was amazing from the deck or from the beach!

“Good location. ”

Great location. It has 2 pools but only the tiny one is heated..It gets pretty crowded. The big one should be heated. You need a code to get in the main gate, a code for pedestrian gate, a code to get in the building and of course a code for your condo. It's right on the beach which is great.
