I have read a lot of the reviews that were a bit critical, so I wanted to write one about our very positive experience in this hotel. We stayed here on our way to Canada to break up the drive and to see St. Albans. The hotel was a very pleasant place to spend the night. It was clean and quiet and the staff were friendly, answering all of our questions about where to eat, for example. We saw a train idling during an after dinner walk but never heard any train noise as I had seen in other reviews. We also had no issues with the adjacent municipal parking garage. It was clean and felt safe to the point that I really wonder about the few reviews that I read that mentioned the garage as an issue. The breakfast was really good by the standards of a Hampton Inn breakfast. We quite enjoyed it. We will certainly stay at this property again when we're heading that way.

“New and nice hotel. Great Staff!!”

Nice place. Drop off area is small. Parking is across the street or in the parking garage behind the building where you will need a hotel room key to enter from garage side. The rooms are new, nice, comfortable and spacious. The showers are decent very clean and nice to use. Bathroom is spacious… lisää

Nice place. Drop off area is small. Parking is across the street or in the parking garage behind the building where you will need a hotel room key to enter from garage side. The rooms are new, nice, comfortable and spacious. The showers are decent very clean and nice to use. Bathroom is spacious too. The staff was amazingly helpful. Almost everyone said a friendly hello!!! Breakfast is the typical hotel fare, decent.

“Lovely staff and you will sleep well!”

I have stayed here often, to visit family in town. The staff is extremely accommodating and friendly (shoutout to Doug). The beds are outrageously comfortable! I’m actually trying to buy the same sheets they have there for home. My stays are always pleasant. Advice- book your stays directly through… lisää

I have stayed here often, to visit family in town. The staff is extremely accommodating and friendly (shoutout to Doug). The beds are outrageously comfortable! I’m actually trying to buy the same sheets they have there for home. My stays are always pleasant. Advice- book your stays directly through Hilton in case you need to make any changes. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because bathrooms could use a fan and the pocket doors aren’t great in terms of privacy.

“Hotel ok, St.Albans not so.”

Fairly nice hotel , seemed pretty new. Bed average comfort but had no curtains that closed totally , only a shear , St. Albans we had heard and did witness has really gotten a lot like Burlington VT with a lot of very sketchy people wandering the streets and doing drugs etc and we were warned to p… lisää

Fairly nice hotel , seemed pretty new. Bed average comfort but had no curtains that closed totally , only a shear , St. Albans we had heard and did witness has really gotten a lot like Burlington VT with a lot of very sketchy people wandering the streets and doing drugs etc and we were warned to park car in the garage near well lit area. We got lucky but were really nervous given a couple people smoking in the garage that looked like local bums hanging out. All was well and cant really blame hotel other than security could do more to keep people away and cars safer. The whole area aroung the garage and entrance was pretty sad and really not comfortable atmosphere.
