the room was super clean but the reason for the five stars was because the manager and frot desk person went far and above for us. After a restful night, my husband and I got back on the road and reached our destination 300 miles away later that day at which time I realized I forgot my insulin in the refrigerator in the room. Housekeeping found it and the Manager packed it, took it to Fed Ex and overnighted it to me and saved the day. Just made a reservation for this coming week and want to give a special "thank you" to these fine folks.

“A Good Option for Travelers”

I stayed here two nights recently. It was a last-minute booking, so it was a bit more than I'd normally pay for this class of hotel. But overall, this is a good hotel. The room was dated and needs some maintenance, but it was clean and housekeeping did a great job. This is good choice for travelers… lisää

I stayed here two nights recently. It was a last-minute booking, so it was a bit more than I'd normally pay for this class of hotel. But overall, this is a good hotel. The room was dated and needs some maintenance, but it was clean and housekeeping did a great job. This is good choice for travelers passing through Staunton, as there's shopping and restaurants within walking distance.

This hotel looks good from the outside but it definitely needs a facelift. The price shown online does not reflect what you actually pay. If the price was truly $135 I wouldn't have much to say. This hotel looks good from the outside but it definitely needs a facelift. The price shown online does not reflect what you actually pay. If the price was truly $135 I wouldn't have much to say. For over $200 it should be in better shape. The room was clean however furniture beat up, rugs need replacement, damaged tile in multiple places in the bath. Breakfast was the typical chain hotel fair coffee,scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, mini muffins, waffles etc. also cookies for snacks around 5 in the evening. Was following previous reviews by booking here however sometimes you see things differently. Just not my cup of tea ...

My mother and I spent one evening here while traveling in the Shenandoah. The hotel was an excellent choice for dependable and comfortable lodging. Our room was quiet despite the proximity to highways. The location was good -- near the interstate but a short drive to the historic downtown area. We ate dinner at a restaurant in downtown Staunton. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Staff were very friendly and professional. My only comment would be that the breakfast offerings were limited. I suppose with the price of eggs it is too much to hope for a hard boiled egg anymore. Otherwise, an excellent choice in the Staunton area.
