We fell victims to a fire that claimed 100% of everything we owned in an apartment fire July 2019. Devastated to say the least. Renters insurance covered everything including to find us shelter until we found a home. The customer service desk workers were the absolute best I had ever witnessed! Easy to talk to about anything and with very interesting conversations. My hubby would always know where to find me once I had slipped from the room. And the front desk phone would ring every time. lol. I enjoyed the amenity of a free laundry room/weight and exercise room and the continental breakfast. Once or twice a week there would also be wine. Maid service respected wishes and would leave fresh linen and let me clean our room. We both appreciated each other for that exchange. The room was very clean and felt like home. Our kitchen area was the right size for the room and with dishwasher and food disposal. Nice. The fridge was a very size. The bathroom area, omg! The bathroom is what made me want to live there. Big and spacious. Whenever we ran out of anything they would quickly refurnish whatever we needed. Oh, oh, oh the in-hotel store had everything for short stays but was a little expensive. Outside provided bbq areas under a roof. Cozy atmosphere inside or out. I tell you, the best darn service I've experienced.

Normally I do not participate in hotel reviews. I had to this time. The Manager Janisva is a precious jewel. Her warm generosity, couldn't be any better. He staff is a reflection of her sweet personality. I'd visit the Comfort Suites, in Bay City again anyway. Felt more like vacation,than work 🥰🥰🥰.

One of candlewood's major amenities is the free laundry. Only had three washers and four dryers. Only one washing machine work correctly washers either didn't work at all or didn't spin out the clothes. One of candlewood's major amenities is the free laundry. Only had three washers and four dryers. Only one washing machine work correctly washers either didn't work at all or didn't spin out the clothes. One dryer would dry but you had to plug it in and unplug it to make it work the other did not dry properly. it took two and a half hours to dry one load of clothes. This issue continued for the entire 26 days of our stay. We cleaned our own room and took two to three days to get a clean floor. The carpet in our room was very clean because it was new. Staff was amazing friendly very helpful to their ability.
