“Spring Break getaway”

I took my grandson here during spring break for a little getaway. The staff was very friendly. Room very clean. Loved the big screen television. Breakfast was great. Loved the cookies they baked in the early evening hours and the punch! Thank you so much will book again. Highly recommend.

My granddaughter and I arrived at about 3 am. The first impression as we approached and attempted to go inside was shaky. The digital key was not opening the lobby door and no one was answering the intercom, coming off the road my g-baby and I had to use the restroom badly so I was getting a bit irritated. Once the night auditor finally let us in it started to get better. She could have been a bit more welcoming but she wasn't rude and once I explained at the intercome that the digital key was not working I shouldn't have had to ask for a hard key in case it wouldn't work in the room. She should have already been getting and suggesting a hard key for me. On a brighter note, the room was nice, clean, inviting, and comfortable. Upon checkout, I needed to print some info and had issues with the print process. The front desk associate was very helpful and allowed me to email it to him and he printed the doc for me. I did not get his name but I think his initials are FD. Thanks for your patience and your assistance. FD and I also had a great laugh as my g-baby tried to sit in one of those funny-looking, hanging, hammock-looking chairs in the lobby and she fell out of it. She's fine and laughed just as hard as I did.

“Comfy budget hotel”

This was our second stay at a Tru by Hilton. We picked this location for World Springs, an outdoor spa, but the weather didn’t cooperate. This was our second stay at a Tru by Hilton. We picked this location for World Springs, an outdoor spa, but the weather didn’t cooperate. The hotel is easy to find, right off the highway with plenty of parking and across from Hyatt Place. We stayed on the top floor, quiet and comfortable since it doesn’t face the highway. Amenities include a gym and pool (didn’t use it due to rain and windy). Breakfast was pretty underwhelming, and the rooms are basic, think Spirit Airlines of hotels. Wifi and Netflix worked great though. Staff were friendly, but our ice packs ended up in the wrong freezer, so they weren’t frozen the next day. Nice bonus: free coffee and tea in the lobby, plus a pool table for guests. Convenient location near lots of restaurants and delivery options.
