Had a last minute issue where a friend needed a place to stay for the night. I called another Marriott property close by and didn't understand what I was asking them which was simple. My friend is gonna check in and I will send in the authorization form. I called TownePlace in Arlington and Sierra knew exactly what I was talking about and was able to check in flawlessly and get the documents back to them on time.

“Good time in Arlington”

The customer service was great. The rooms were very spacious. The location was very good too. It's about 1 mile from the AT&T Stadium. Walking distance to the social district or a short Uber ride. I will stay again! Very family friendly. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

I had a two night stay here while I had some major home repairs being completed. The positives: - The rooms have obviously been recently remodeled and are spotless. I particularly appreciated how all of the utensils, serve ware, etc. in the kitchen were immaculate. The inside of the fridge looked like it had never been used before. Everything was so clean! I like to stay at Marriott Towneplace Suites and Residence Inns as I prefer to make my own food, and obviously that gets dicey if the kitchen is yucky. - The staff are incredibly friendly! The man at the front desk when I checked in was so kind. Same with the lady who was attending the breakfast area. And man oh man - the coffee was so good! - The amenities are great. I made use of the gym (brand new gear, and super clean, although very small - I'd been uncomfortable if I wasn't the only one in there), nice pool (which looked clean, and was being actively cleaned while I was there), and basketball court. They also had corn hole. So fun! And I noticed a grill too, but didn't get a close look at it. The negatives: - The parking situation is interesting to say the least. Not very many parking spots available in the front, and a bit more in the back. It wasn't immediately obvious there was a back parking area until I checked in and was made aware of such. Many of the spots in the back are currently blocked by a couple large construction storage containers. All parking spots are very skinny/small. I drive a very small car and it all still felt tight. Seeing as the vast majority of Texans drive oversized pickups, this won't work. - The internet is slow and cut out a number of times, including when I was in the middle of a work meeting. There isn't an option to upgrade to a higher speed internet option for a fee like there is at many/most other Marriott properties. I found this particularly surprising for the area. - I was awoken in the early morning (roughly 2 AM) by car horns. Couldn't tell if it was a car security system going off in the parking lot - was half worried it was mine (it ended up not being mine). The area is semi-sketch (actually make that mostly sketch - across the street at the water park it's fine....hotel side of the street it gets weird). - Breakfast food options were incredibly limited, particularly in comparison to other Towneplace Suites I've been to in the area. They had a host of oatmeal toppings, but no vat of plain oatmeal. Just a variety of pre-flavored and sweetened oatmeals that did not need such toppings. The hot food options were limited and disappointing, and appeared as if they had been picked over and nearly destroyed, even early in the morning. No plain eggs or hardboiled eggs. It was hard to build your own breakfast if you didn't like and/or were unable to eat the available options due to food allergies and other dietary issues/preferences. I will reiterate the coffee was AMAZING. The caffeine was the one and only positive of breakfast. - The ceiling in the bathroom area of the room was incredibly low. I am very short (a tad less than 5' 5"), and could still touch the ceiling by simply raising my arm. Particularly worrisome as they had a mercury bulb sprinkler in the bathroom above the shower/toilet I could've easily clipped with my hand. Heaven forbid anyone taller try to shower there - most everyone I know is taller than me!

One of the few 2 bedroom hotels in the area so picked this one. Rooms were decent size, bed were comfortable and AC worked. Breakfast was ok. One of the few 2 bedroom hotels in the area so picked this one. Rooms were decent size, bed were comfortable and AC worked. Breakfast was ok. The house keeping ladies were amazing as they always accommodated requests for extra blanket or towel since we were family of 6. First day the pool was under maintenance but was up and working the rest of the time. Overall location was good and it served purpose
