This is a beautiful place, both the building and the site. Second time we've stayed there and have been pleased both times. The breakfast is above average with friendly, helpful staff throughout. We have only a couple of minor suggestions. First, there were no tissues anywhere in the room. Second, the shower is over a tub with the tub surface extremely slippery. Also the TV and its remote were very outdated, very difficult to operate. Having said this, we would definitely stay there again!

“Lovely hotel, convenient location”

We recently stayed for 2 nights. We loved our room, with 2 queen beds and a separate living area. The bathroom was spacious. Our room overlooked the creek. We loved the location, as it was within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Also the 290 wine shuttle picks up here. Breakfas… lisää

We recently stayed for 2 nights. We loved our room, with 2 queen beds and a separate living area. The bathroom was spacious. Our room overlooked the creek. We loved the location, as it was within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Also the 290 wine shuttle picks up here. Breakfast was decent and they used real dishes, which was a nice touch. Staff was super friendly and notified me after we left that they found something I'd left behind, and I arranged to have mailed back to me. I would absolutely stay here again!!

“What a great place”

Great atmosphere, staff were wonderful. All with smiles. Full breakfast was fantastic. This is a great place to stay.

Fredericksburg is a nice little town. A bit touristy but lovely. The Inn on Baron's Creek is an independent, boutique type hotel. Fredericksburg is a nice little town. A bit touristy but lovely. The Inn on Baron's Creek is an independent, boutique type hotel. They are a member of a boutique group called Stash Hotels, which is how I located them. The hotel is obviously a previous County Inn & Suites and they've done a very nice job of reversing the corporate feel. The front desk staff was always very friendly and made several dining recommendations. The room was comfortable and quiet and close to the elevator. It was nice having the sitting area with an extra tv. There was also a laundry directly across from our room, which was convenient and only $1.25 a load! The only "bad" thing I could say about the hotel is the main parking lot is smallish. There is a larger parking area attached but it's uphill. One of our nights coming in from dinner I had to drop hubby off at the entrance and park up there because the 3-4 handicap spots were full. My knees did NOT appreciate the steep hill at all.
